Decided to order from this Roast Meat Stall after seeing it on google review.
Ordered the 1 portion meal ($8.50) which I think is enough for 2 people if add rice.
1 unique thing about this stall is they served ah char. The roast meat is the best i have tried. It doesn't have the burnt and salty taste. Roast duck is also good but char siew can be improved.
Overall, a good place for all the meats dish
Seeing a steady stream of customers at Ho-Bee Roasted Food, I joined in the queue as well. Since many of them ordered the š„š¼š®ššš²š± ššš°šø, I chose that as well.
The meat was tender and juicy, but the glistening skin wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped it was. The achar on the side was surprisingly good, its crunchy and sweet-sour profile providing both a textural and flavour contrast.
Overall it was pretty decent, if a little too oily. I've had better roasted ducks before, so I don't understand the long queues at this stall.

Tried out the roast meat at Ho-Bee Roasted Food, which is located at 628 AMK. Have heard good reviews about it but the food here exceeded my expeditions by a mile. Got the set which comes with roast duck and sio bak. Roast duck was insane r tender and juicy with an excellent fat to meat ratio. Roast meat was also really good with a nice crackling skin. Food also comes with a side of achar which I really liked. I queued a solid 20 mins for this during off peak hours and Iād queue again.

It is so delicious, the prawn taste is strong, the pork lard is so crispy. Probably the best hokkies me for me. I ordered $4, comes with 2 prawns and few squids. Love it so much. I ate this 2 days in a row, as it was so yummy. You should try this when come to 628 Market.
Black Carrot cake (01-76) - had the $4 option which was really good value!
It was so good, I forgot to even take a pic..
Homemade chilli was different from the norm, a highlight as were the fried egg bits. Good textural and palatable mix of slightly charred eggs, soft eggy bits, the chopped 'cake' and crunchy radish.
Absolute yum!
Breakfast of Xiang Ji Porridge (01-81)- pork meat and liver for $3.50 (add 0.5cents for extras like egg, or century egg). Well seasoned and flavourful porridge base, with preserved veg pieces - a little extra umami!
Unimpressed with pork slivers - too soft, pork ball had too much flour/cornstarch and almost felt manufactured. Pork liver and overall meat ratio was still worth the price though.
Carrot cake from same hawker was heaps better though!
