Happy to present a fairly decent stall to satisfy your claypot cravings at Ubi area. The signature Claypot Chicken Rice ($5) came after a 7-10 mins wait as the rice is glazed in a claypot at high heat to perfection. The pot comes in single portion, and you surely get a bang for your buck. This hearty dish came with an array of ingredients, which satisfied all my senses after a good mix with the specialty dark sauce. You get a good serving of chicken thigh and wing, tender and well-seasoned. Each spoonful was filled with the right amount of salted fish and mix of lap cheong. The fun part of every claypot rice meal is the crispy charred ends of rice stuck to the pot when you’ve done devouring the majority of it. I loved how there was a thin layer to scrape up and enjoy at the end.
