Chendol is my favourite local dessert, and the Thai version is different in a few ways. Most notably, gula melaka is absent, but this came with red rubies and other fresh fruits as well. Besides the red rubies which are boiled water chestnuts coated with tapioca flour, what's most delectable here is the scoop of coconut sorbet.
🔸
Besides this Thai chendol, this restaurant is also serving other authentic Thai cuisine (swipe for pic of some Thai dishes, which I also posted on Instagram on 31 August) at very competitive prices. And this place is conveniently located - right above Farrer Park MRT, at Park Hotel Farrer Park.

It's my second visit here, and food is still as good. Maybe it's because my host Letitia from @theategroup and the team from @bluejasmine.sg curated all the best new dishes to order, but my experiences here have shown me that it's difficult to go wrong with any dishes.
🔸
Chef Khun Nipaporn epitomized Thai culinary philosophy, balancing all five flavours in equilibrium, at the same time refreshing them with her elegant style of presentation.

And this place is conveniently located - right above Farrer Park MRT, at Park Hotel Farrer Park. And considering the elegant setting of this restaurant within the lush courtyard of the hotel, this place is serving authentic Thai cuisine at very, very competitive prices.

Ordered a few variety of dishes, utilising burpple beyond.

Taste-3/5 (generally ok but not something to shout for)
Ambience-4.5/5
Service-3.5/5 (staff is generally attentive and friendly but can be challenging getting their attention since we are seated at the corner and some dishes got to wait for quite some time before they are served)

#Throwback to Mother's Day dinner in Ramadhan @bluejasmine.sg a day before their Ramadhan menu.

Food was decent, spread was limited and the only thing thoroughly enjoyed was the Sticky Mango Rice and Coconut Soft Serve.

Ok lah... #Burpple #BurppleSG #bluejasmine

Prawn Doughnut ($12) - Skip this as it was small and too firm
Vegetarian Green Curry ($24) - fragrant and not overly milky
Tom Yum Seabass ($20) - seabass were fresh, soup was spicy and sour with lots of ingredients
Mango Sticky Rice ($14) - was average for the price. Coconut milk was slightly salty and not sure if this was intended
Red Ruby ($12) - highly recommend this
Food was 8/10 however do note that the portions are small so he prepared to order more mains to feed more people
However, the restaurant had a queer smell. Not sure if the sewage or ventilation was a problem.
