Blue Star Fishball Minced Meat Noodle (Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market)

Meepok was mixed well, not clumpy at all! I asked for vinegar, no chilli / tomato sauce. Although I’ve had noodles which were more qq, this was still p satisfying and had a good bite. The sauce was yummy too! Also they are very generous with the ingredients. Fishballs (which were larger than average) are probably factory made but they got a good supplier - this was bouncy and quite tasty. Mushrooms were decent, not as “braised” & flavourful as I expected, but still fine as it wasn’t salty. Fishcakes were p standard, minced meat was alright too. Herkiao is probably frozen and not the best, but nice of them to include it. Overall a rather satisfying bowl of noodles - ingredients are not fantastic but each component comes together nicely, I would come back again! The auntie is friendly too :)

Seriously one of the best yet underrated BCM in the middle of Tanjong Pagar hawker (Blue Star Mushroom Minced Meat Noodles). Order set #9 and you get a huge serving of fishballs, meatball, hee giao and mushrooms. Yumz.

These fishballs are table spoon size and made with minced meat and chilli pieces. The fishballs are firm and tasty. Mee was well mixed and the chilli sauce seems to be done with sambal chilli sauce and garlic. Overall it’s worth the $4. Yummy

Best fishball noodles thus far! Very generous servings of ingredients for hungry lunch crowd. Seasoning is perfect with the right amount of vinegar & chili And the noodles have perfect texture! Worth queuing for

Came at 2ish to avoid the queue and THERE WAS STILL A QUEUE. So Guess who ended up queueing because she’s a sucker for ba chor mee 🙄
