Bober Tea (Bishan)

Matcha latte ($2) and taro latte ($1) from bober tea! Bought from Lazada during the 11am-2pm flash sale! Super worth it!

I actually like this taro latte because it wasn't filled with like real mushy taro pulp (like m***s**'s) which I thought made it too heavy/jelat. Liked the light taro fragrance taste to it! Both drinks were super thirst quenching (after our Bukit timah Bukit panjang hike)!🌟

Sweet, rich and creamy taro in milk latte.

^ That’s not a spelling error in my title, I think, because on my receipt it’s spelt “cream brulee” and not “creme brûlée”.

Anyway, the drink was good - it was very sweet and creamy in a good way. The pearls probably stole the show in this drink - soft and chewy, the perfect consistency. It was still slightly warm too.

Only thing was that the layer of creme brûlée at the top was super thin, I was almost done with it after 1-2 small sips.

Other than that, I don’t regret this buy and all the calories that came with it.

The brown sugar pearls were chewy and warm even after delivery. Hands down the best pearl texture I ever tried. Sweetness overload. 🥳

After drinking this, I had no space in my stomach for lunch anymore. Boba is for the soul, so if you are going to drink this, just don’t think about the calories but it definitely fills you up.

Have been loving Bober’s brown sugar series as the pearls are quite Q and not too hard!! The sweetness of the drink is also just nice and it doesn’t get too cloying 👌

I am suuuuuper prickly about my bubble tea (cos of the sugar and calories!!) but I love to try new flavours and brands. I’ve tried so many places and I think I can come up with a decent-sized list now hehe 👀

My favourite was Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée Milk! It’s not overly sweet and the pearls were chewy. If you’re a fan of matcha, would recommend getting Hokkaido Chizu Matcha as the matcha taste is stronger and more prominent as compared to the Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Latte.
