This is the set to go for if you love Otah and super generous Peanuts! 🥜😲 I used to live in Novena and frequent this stall. Now I still come back for a Nasi Lemak refill from time to time. The sambal chilli here is quite sweet but you can really offset that with their fried egg and thick slab of Otah + the coconut gragrant rice + 2 Slices of cucumber and I am in my element! 😌🍃🥥

Their Nasi Lemak shop has been face lifted and looks very clean & organized than before. We went there for a takeaway at 1 pm and their Kuning fish and Otah are all gone which means there is no set 4 (Otah set) only set 2 (fish set) is left.

We are offered to replace kuning fish in set 2 with bigger sized fish and pay 50 cents extra. We cannot say we love the big fish as they are quite bony but we do enjoy their sweet chili, fried egg. Anchovies / peanut could have been fresher but the coconut rice still make this set a pleasant quick lunch! 🥥

Located at Boon Lay food village people were still queueing at 11pm to get their nasi lemak fix. Ordered the standard chicken wing set that came with chicken wing, ikan bilis&peanuts, fried egg and sambal. The rice was quite fragrant but nothing to shout about and the egg was just a standard fried egg. The ikan bilis and peanuts added a crunchy texture to entire dish which was nice and not too greasy. The sambal was on the sweeter side?? but still had a slight spicy kick at the end but I would’ve preferred a spicier sambal. The hero for me was the chicken wing still super crispy and tender when you bite into it, something i didn’t expect of a nasi lemak stall especially at 11pm.

A standard lunch take away Nasi Lemak from Boonlay Power Nasi Lemak. Nothing to shout about. The best part of this set is Chilli. The fried chicken, peanuts & egg are standard.
