The hand torn mee hoon kueh was alright (not doughy), though it lacked springiness as it was rather thin. Meatballs were well-seasoned, and I liked that there was mani cai in this (the hallmark of more authentic mhks). There were also mushrooms and ikan bilis, plus an onsen egg which is something different. A decent bowl, but not the best.

this bowl of you mian taste so much like home.
as compared to other bowls of you mian I've tasted, this was nothing exceptional. however, I personally love this as it really tastes very homely. the soup was pretty nice. the texture of the you mian was perfect and very nice to slurp on. the meat was well seasoned and I love the fact that they used spinach as the vegetable. definitely a decent bowl of you mian to have if ever in the vicinity!

Tom Yum Noodles ($4.50):
Ordered the Po Chai Noodles which goes well with the tom yum soup which was rather appetitizing. Quality of their ingredients are good and fresh- Minced pork is well marinaded, Onsen egg was cooked on point!

[MEDIA] Handmade mee hoon kueh and ban mian?! 😱 Boon's Noodles are a labour of love, with its ex-Rafflesian founder painstakingly putting every ingredient together by hand, from the broth to the chilli sauce.

Eating at this husband and wife run stall is like coming together for a cozy meal with your neighbour. Come early enough and you can enjoy their al-dente noodles with a runny onsen egg! 🍜🍳

Koka Noodle ($3.50):
✅ Minced pork is well seasoned, ikan billis is crispy, onsen egg is done right
✅ Chilli goes well with the koka noodles
✅ Very friendly owners!

It’s not too watery or diluted, just nice ~ soaked together with the soft chewy kueh👍☺️definitely be back heheh🌟
