Fortunately, Chef Patrick has launched six different DIY Pasta Kits at an affordable rate that you can still enjoy your pasta at the comfort of your own home with just a few simple preparation steps. The sauces and ingredients are freeze-packed in individual portions so that you can keep them for up to four weeks in the freezer. If you are lazy, like me, you can even get the handmade Tagliatelle pasta, that also comes frozen, to pair with the sauces. Each of these come with clear and easy instructions and within minutes, your plate of pasta will be ready. Pictured is the Beef Bolognese ($8) and Mushroom Truffle Cream ($7), the latter comes with sautéed Japanese Shimeji and Eryngi mushrooms in a homemade truffle cream sauce. You can swipe right to view the full menu for these DIY Pasta Kits.

To order, simply call or WhatsApp to 8922 2246 and you can pick them up from the restaurant or opt for delivery at a flat fee of $10. If your orders go above $180, delivery charges will be waived.

They looked tiny but these mini burgers were bursting rich in flavour with every bite. The beef and pork patty was juicy; and the crunchy cabbage slaw added a refreshing element to it. On a low carb diet? Fret not as these burgers only have a charcoal bun as the base and topped at the top with a quail egg. Absolutely umami! 😍

This Izakaya Tapas and Sake Bar not only offers impressive eats and all sorts of sakes, its interior concept is fascinating. Once a finance house, Boruto has retained the mighty vault on its 2nd floor and turned it into a beautiful sake cellar. One of its signature dish, the Sake Chicken, was a standing ovation. Roasted with Kikusui Sake, the layer of skin was thin and crisp; and the meat itself was moist, tender and mildly seasoned. A super tasty fowl worth sharing! 😋

I love the sweetness of the caramelized cipollini onions which complemented the creaminess of the foie gras. However I felt the sweetness of the poached nashi pear can be toned down for the appreciation of the foie gras.

I really like the texture of the pasta here, which are handmade by the team led by new Head Chef Jay. Most items in Boruto's menu has been refreshed new Italian-Japanese creations, and this dish is primarily Italian. The housemade pappardelle was served with a mix of wild Asian mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle oil, crowned with prosciutto to add intensity to the otherwise creamy but refreshingly light dish.

We like this tiramisu, made using yuzu sake as the alcohol. Here's what to expect from their new Head Chef, Jay, who's background in Italian food results in an Italian-Japanese menu at Boruto. Refreshingly good.
