From the Burpple community

This is still my favourite place for salad bowls. You get to choose what you want from a variety of carbs, protein and fibre. But instead of a choice of small or big bowl like before, it is one size now for RM23.50.

This is one refreshing, tasty and filling sandwich. I enjoyed the good servings of pulled crab meat and succulent prawns. Their version of mainly mayo sauce really enhances the sweetness of the meat. Best to go with a cup of flat white. The spacious and naturally well-lighted surroundings make this place good for meetings, thoughts and work.

Soak in the sunlight at Botanica Deli with the company of sandwiches, soups and salad bowls! Located on the ground floor of Vertical Podium, the deli exudes a dreamy, white-walled interior with sleek wooden fittings that makes it perfect for a daytime date. Share the Prawn and Crab Sandwich (RM19.50) — the popular pick sees seasoned prawns and crabsticks sandwiched between lightly toasted French bread. Also spend some time together by the salad bar to craft a salad for sharing, with premium ingredients like edamame, grapes and candied almonds in the mix. For the time being, the deli pairs every meal (sandwich or salad) with a complimentary soup of the day. Three variations are available daily with choices including French onion, potato and even the quintessentially Asian lotus root soup.

Prawn and Crab Sandwich (RM19.50) with a complimentary Lotus Root Soup. Certainly a beautiful spot with hearty food to look out for when in Bangsar South.

It's hard not to fall in love for this stunning new kid on the block when you are greeted with the most delightful afternoon rays of light, as you sit and tuck into a hearty gourmet sandwich. FYI, it's all self-service here so there will be a few back-to-reality calls before one is allowed to truly immerse themselves in their 'summer' fantasies. Like a buzzer that vibrates violently when your food is ready so you have to drag your feet to walk pass a sea of aloof sungazers and this could be you but... There are not many places that are capable of transporting you into such delusion other than that of Botanica Deli, so far. With only four choices of Sandwiches on the menu, my order was simplified: with no surprise, I picked the Prawn & Crab Sandwich (RM19.5), and had a taste of the Roast Chicken Sandwich (RM19.5), both served with one complimentary soup. I thought the price totally justified the portion for both of the sandwiches - with fillings that were bursting out of the warm in-house baked breads. The crustaceans were juicy and flavourful from the paprika and dill mayo combination, while the chicken was tender and easily gobbled down. By the time my company and I were done with our carbs, we could barely finish our soups. And so, the day-dreaming continues. I'd definitely be back here. Also, to check out the deli's more serious sister restaurant next door: Botanica + Co.

Seriously. Best roast beef sandwich I've had outside New York. A must-try! Full post up later.
