What you should order based on community favourites


From the Burpple community

Consists of “Begedil Potatoes”, Green Sriracha and Leek Flowers, this was a pretty interesting dish with the pairing of steak and begedil though the steak wasn’t Super tender.

First of the Progressive Cocktails I tried - The Mojito No. 5, is a safe choice for the less adventurous, as it was decently sweet with a very faint alcohol taste. Comprising of rum, blackberry, lychee, lime juice and mint, this is a fruity concoction that will certainly win the hearts of all sweet toothers and those who prefer something light. ⁣⁣⁣

Dessert was a deconstructed Ondeh Ondeh, with the pandan and mocha cake being a little on the tough side. But the coconut was apparent in this dish, with shavings sprinkled all over the plate. Would have preferred if there was a stronger gula melaka taste, which I feel is the key to a good ondeh ondeh 😂.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Hae Bi Hiam Conchiglie was decent, but I guess my palette got confused with the pairing, what with hae bi mixed in with pasta. The pasta was also a little tough to the bite too, so, meh. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Next up I have the Thyme Lemonade, which evident from the name, consists of thyme and lemon juice (duh~), and a very strong vodka taste. The staff was explaining how the alcohol taste will only be apparent once it slides down your throat, but nope, at first mouth the vodka smell hits you in the face.⁣


The Sun Dried Tomato Pesto pasta was a little underwhelming, with the chef opting for conchiglie mixed in with seasonal tomatoes, sun-dried tomato pesto, sprinkled with burrata and basil. I'm sorry but the conchiglie used looked more like maggots than seashells 🙈
