Ba Chor Hei Pasta ($15)
.
A modern twist to the popular ba chor mee @boufesg , the mee kia is replaced with angel hair pasta coated with a slick thyme soy sauce. Mushroom and prawn fritters, sous vide egg and shallots top the pasta. Overall, the pasta coated with the egg paired well with the crispy fritters and my favourite part of the dish was the fried shrimps. The minced pork flavour was a little lacking though.

My friend and I ordered the fish and chips as well as the duck confit. The duck confit was pretty nice especially the mash potatoes, however the duck was a tad dry. Fish and chips were really good and the portion size was huge!💯 Overall it’s pretty worth it bc of burrple’s 1 for 1 💵

Excited to hear how boufe came to town or raffles place (!!!) as the original outlet was slightly ulu. The salmon bowl is a big check as it serves all the goodness in a bowl with seared albeit slightly too charred salmon.

However some things don't work too- the noisy acoustics of the place (its hard to have a convo indoors), the slow queue, and ... that the haebeehiam pasta is way too plain for our liking.

Burpple one for one adventures! Salmon bowl is yums. ($15 for two mains)

Tender meat which falls off the bone easily, but cant eat too much at one go because the taste is numbing after awhile. Dish to share with others, worth it for 1for1. Burrple beyond rocks!

First time at this outlet and it’s so disappointing. Even though I used 1 for 1, my friend and I still felt that it was not worth it 😭 Duck confit wasn’t juicy at all. Pasta felt like any other tomato pasta. I feel sad for ppl who pay full price for these! The standard of this cafe is dropping so bad.

Chashu Miso Pasta ($15) consisted of boufe pork chashu, miso sauce, onsen egg, shredded seaweed. I decided not add spiced silver sprout because I don't eat spicy food. Its quite special for dry pasta by using miso sauce instead of making soup. I also like the sauce for miso to complement for pasta dish. I also add-on as a set meal for handicraft beverage - hot mint tea ($3.90) in regular size.
