Take note this is from Donq Boulangerie at the back of Takashimaya, not their Mini One space. It doesn't look like their viral bun so I won't assume it is. But the filling was half matcha cream, half chocolate, and it was good.

love love love this bread! subtle tea taste with chunky slightly crispy apple bits. one of my better finds at this bakery.

You know we try to eat healthy even when it comes to bread. πŸ˜‡ Multigrain bread has been a staple occasionallly on our breakfast table. We found this healthy france loaf and just love its natural look from the skin to the bread itself. #Nutlovers will be totally into this loaf: walnut, pumpkin seeds, black and white sesame seed are plenty and all over. Bread texture is chewy abd addictive. P.S. I finish a loaf by myself.☺️

One of the better bread hauls from Donq was this coffee chocolate bread with delicious chocolate ribbons within the reliable white bread and a nice cookie crust with chocolate chips. If I’m looking for a sweet bread treat here, the melon pan at Donq remains one of my go tos.

Came here during dinner time and most bread was sold out. Managed to get the Mentaiko France as they were refiling them.

It's basically a baguette filled with Mentaiko. I ate mine the next day after heating it up in the air fryer. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I was also surprised that the inside had Mentaiko as well. I really like Mentaiko but I wished they balanced the salty Mentaiko with something sweet like mayo as the bread was a little on the salty side for me.

One thing I liked was the attitude of each staff member. They were very friendly and always smiling.

Ham and cheese pie @ $5

Super good pastry, especially after toasting it. The pastry is flaky, but has good thickness and can taste the butter layer. The ham and cheese are super good too, and the small olives complement them very well.

The cashier says this is their new item for the month and not sure they will continue after this month or not. So if like, need to get more within this month πŸ˜‚
