Too bad when I reached majority sold out, so I only can get myself Taiwan Braised Pork Rice.
The braised pork was tender, served with gravy tasty, egg and veggie.
I tabao back also still taste good.

Gravy-soaked rice topped with braised pork belly and toppings such as ajitsuke tamago (ramen egg), pressed tofu (tau kwa), tofu puff (tau pok), shiitake mushroom, black fungus and vegetables served in old-school tin enamel bowl 》$5

The long hours of braising result in a soft and firm braised pork belly which simply melts in your mouth with every bite. The gravy is thick and not salty. Unlike the usual hard-boiled egg, they serve ramen egg over here. This is simply comforting and satisfying but do expect to spend some time queuing for it.

💸 Braised Pork Cheek Set (add-on Pork Belly): $10
Had a super comforting bowl of braised pork rice today😋. Able to choose from different cuts of meat for the rice bowls and we tried the Braised Pork Cheek Set and added on a portion of Pork Belly🍲. Highly recommend getting the Pork Cheek🥩! Despite it being a lean cut of meat, it was super tender and just melts in your mouth! Also liked that the set came with other ingredients like egg, black fungus, vegetables🥬 etc., it was really filling! The sauce was not too salty but, as all the ingredients were braised in the same sauce and the rice🍚 was also covered in it, the taste did get a little one-dimensional over time. Still, for the wonderfully braised meats, it's worth a try☺️!

Pork cheek is an underrated and relatively uncommon cut of pork.

It is however one of my favourite cuts because it is lean yet very tender without being too fatty. It is meaty yet well marbled. The flavours are also a lot more mellow as compared to the other cuts of pork.

Braising is without a doubt the best method for preparing pork cheek as it further tenderizes the meat. The meat also readily absorbs the flavours of the braising stock.

This is my favorite cut of pork at Braise. I love how their pork cheek has a moreish meaty flavour which is enhanced by the subtly sweet and savoury braising sauce.

Yes, it's the most expensive cut but definitely worth it!

Best braised meat in Singapore. Tender and full of flavour. Must come early to avoid long queue.

Yes, it will probably mean (more than) a couple of hours in the gym but this glistening piece of succulently tender pork belly is worth it!
