Came here to try their pork knuckle after having discovered their existence. Asked them what’s the size like for their S, M and L. The staff said S is for 2 pax, M is 3-4 pax. My friend and I decided to go for L as we were both rather hungry. Turned out, the portion was just about right for 2 of us.

The crackling was done well as it was able to retain its crisp even after the pork knuckle has cooled down. The meat on the other hand was ok, nothing to shout about. Also, I was expecting a bigger sized knuckle for the “L”; so I was a little disappointed when I saw the size when they served the dish.

Crocodile Schnitzel (SGD$35.00) - breaded fillet of crocodile, served with a bed of salad and French Fries. While the crocodile schnitzel was succulent instead of tough (I'd tried homemade crocodile soup before and the flesh was rough), I was hoping that it would be crispy but it was soft; I also didn't like the tiny pickled dices that were slathered over the schnitzel, giving it a sweet taste.

Unlike the usual baked escargots served in palettes and coated with cheese, these were simply steamed with spices and therefore we could taste the raw sweetness of the buoyant flesh. It was so fun to eat these, I was tempted to order another half a dozen of them.

The tiny bird was roasted to a lovely golden brown, with the most succulent flesh and was pooled in a scrumptious dark sauce. I loved how it had the refreshing radish as well, adding flavour and a touch of balance to my meaty dish. The baked potatoes, having soaked up the gravy and were utterly soft – were very easy on the palate as well.
