Tried a cup of their house blend (Pen & Pencil) and a cup of their single origin (Lufa Papua New Guinea), and my vote goes to the...houseblend! Love the strong rich aromatic nutty flavour that complemented the milkiness beautifully, and it was really a good cup of coffee! Nice chill ambience with decent brunch food but skip their pastries!
This was pretty average with a nice sweet glaze though earl grey flavour was very lacking, and the hazelnuts added a nice crunch. Croissant itself was nothing too great, and canβt really compare to other bakeries in terms of butteriness or fluffiness, and just overall not that great π₯π₯ Would skip their pastries here and just go for the brunch items tbh ππ
This looked and sounded really promising (and especially cause there was only one left), but was rather disappointingly dry and nothing too impressive π₯π₯ Would give this a miss ππ
Relatively nice atmosphere and vibes, somewhat reminding me of a typical Saturday brunch on a sunny morning in Perth π³πΏ Their oven baked molten egg cheese is a MUST-TRY ( an unusual but fun experience similar like eating pizza for breakfast )
Came here for their Oven Baked Molten Eggs on tortilla and melted cheese (in picture) as well as their Curry Chicken Wrap! My 4-5th visit here and the food standards remained great. It was a lil crowded on a Saturday afternoon but we got our seats really quick. They also serve cakes and pastries at their counter, such as their selection of sliced loaf cakes, croissants and breads - will try that the next time there!
Have had the original Earl Grey Lavender Croissant with Toasted Hazelnuts for quite a while now, so this new rendition (which I already had twice; once at East Coast Road and the other time at Guillemard) was certainly a refreshing change. Now the same airy croissant that perfumes of the floral notes now come with an cream cheese filling β the filling isn't particularly heavy; one would get a light tinge of tartness whilst the cream cheese helps add a soft and creamy texture provides a contrast of textures which seems fitting to the croissant. Spiked with a little bit of the Earl Grey Lavender, the Earl Grey Lavender Cream Cheese also helps to elevate those floral notes even further from the sugar glazing; pretty lovely indeed.
