Towering skewers of meat. A fully, stocked salad bar. Its been years since I last went to a meat buffet and so I was thoroughly blown away by the meat buffet offered by the pioneer of Brazilian churrasco in Singapore ($52).

Pictured is one of their signatures, a delicious beef topside freshly sliced off a skewer. It was so juicy and the meat was perfectly cooked, just pink in the center. Another favorite of mine was the beef ribs, which were fork-tender. They also have snow fish, marinated in a tangy, sourish marinade that matched the buttery, flaky texture of the fish beautifully.

But what I liked the best was the roasted pineapple (I had 3 servings of those). The juicy caramelized sweetness, the addictive texture, all without the 'bite' on the tongue that raw pineapple has. Match that with their saltier honey baked ham or smoked duck (so juicy!) and it results in a match made in food heaven.

The salad bar provided that perfect balance with the heavier meats. Some of my favorites were the broccoli, carrot and cucumber salad. I understand why this particular outlet has withstood the test of time in a competitive market.

Even before the Pasadores appeared, bearing tall skewers of all-you-can-eat hot grilled meats, I couldn't resist filling half my belly on the irresistible carousel buffet of salads and appetisers. There were hearty items like potato salad, egg mayo, cold pastas, black bean stew, mushrooms, as well as vegetable dishes such as blanched broccoli, grilled capsicums, sautéed onions, beetroot, fresh lettuce and even deepfried "kai lan".
In case you weren't aware, Brazil Churrascaria was the first to introduce the Brazilian grilled meats restaurant concept in Singapore back in 1994. After more than two decades, it's nice to see they still got it.
What makes this an ideal dinner spot when one craves barbecued meat is the great selection, good service and pretty good value they offer. Their cuts of meat may not be the top-of-the-line premium but the seasoning and grilling are done well.
Beef can be enjoyed in the form of ribs, hump, garlic-coated, a topside cut and tenderloin. Apart from those, the Pasadores also come around to each table to tempt with their skewers of chicken, lamb, pork ham, snow fish, and even chicken liver and heart.
Due to the layout of the place, I think this is a suitable venue for bigger groups to gather too.

Fish, chicken on bone, beef tenderloin, smoked duck (juicy), topside, beef brisket (the latter 2 are better than the tenderloin).

It's easy to make but it's nice to be served and makes a great complimentary bread.

This zesty, fruity cocktail is refreshing on a warm day, goes especially well with barbecued meat!
