Some food you don’t even need to taste it to know you’ll like it. Such is the name of this bun at Bread & Hearth. We were so keen to try the various offerings at the bakery including its signature croissant, quiche, scone, super soft ciabatta sandwich. I had to wait till my second visit before trying this awesome bun! Be warned, It’s loaded with peanut butter.

Cinnamon Bun ($2.90)
- Fluffy and moist bun
- Not overly sweet but would have preferred more cinnamon glaze and cream cheese frosting on top
- Tangy cream cheese frosting, complementing the sweet cinnamon filling
- Layers of cinnamon filling within the bun's interior
Overall, huge comforting cinnamon bun that is not cloyingly sweet.
Price: 8.5/10 (For the portion size, this is actually quite value-for-money)
Taste: 9/10
Overall: 9/10 (Must-try over here)

Currant Cream Scone ($3.40)
- 'With rum soaked raisin'
Crunchy and sweet exterior, but this scone was even denser and drier than the one at Bake Of. The saving grace would be its sweet cinnamon sugar crust.
Price: 6/10
Taste: 5.5/10
Overall: 5.5/10 (There's definitely better things to try here)

Almond Chocolate ($3.80)
- Very crunchy and strong notes of almond in the almond cream crust
- Loads of semi-sweet chocolate filling within
- Buttery, moist and fluffy puff pastry
Overall, a very rich and hearty pastry; Very guilty to eat but very satisfying
Price: 7/10 (Average price)
Taste: 9/10
Overall: 8/10

A little disappointed with the weak flat white.
Diluted and thin .

Pecan and cranberry bread was ordinary although cited as the shop’s signature bread .

Go for their pastries like the croissant 🥐 instead and skip the coffee .

Located in Keong Saik, this peaceful and quiet nook is the perfect spot for the weekend brunch. Serving handmade artisanal bread, their croissant is a must-have. Wonderfully light and puffy, the use of Normandy French butter gives it the richness one will expect from a croissant. Their pizzas were doughy and filled with ingredients. Good but not great.

They’re on food panda! got my pancake cravings satisfied after fasting for two days,, was really sad the entire two days that i couldn’t eat because i was sick but these pancakes were so fluffy and it lifted my mood so much :D

They are really soft, and the butter taste and fragrant are so strong - if you dislike butter, thsi might not be for you. Would have preferred ice cream or cream cheese over the whipped topping that they gave which i didn’t really enjoy but the pancakes were real good, and thick. A little different from the ones at Breko Cafe, but good nonetheless. Probably 2nd on my list of pancakes (for now). Should get thsi to share tho, as the pancake portions are pretty huge and it can get a bit too surfeiting to finish all on your own, particularly because the butter taste is too heavy. the fruits were not enough in my opinion, it would be nicer to have more fruits since there was no ice cream to give a refreshing balance to the pancakes. would eat it again if i drop by there but wouldn’t make a special trip down for it.

Overall rating: 7/10
If they serve it with ice cream, it’s a solid 8.5/10

Light & airy croissant!
