Ordered the Prime Strip-loin (medium-rare) ($45) & Pork Belly (medium-well) ($43). The runner was friendly and kindly suggested for us to have the pork belly cooked to medium-well and it came out tender and juicy. The prime strip loin was very tender and flavorful as well.

Everything on the plate went well together especially the meat with the horse radish cream and the gravy with Yorkshire pudding! We also ordered a side of Mac & Cheese ($16), it was nice and cheesy and you can taste good quality cheese but it was nothing to rave about.

Second time here and I am more impressed by their food than my first visit!

Slightly disappointed that one of the eggs was overcooked, not flowy at all. The smoked salmon was pretty salty but came in a very generous portion.

I enjoyed the English muffin as it was toasted such that that it was slightly crispy. Overall, this dish was a hit and miss.

Probably the signature dish of BSK, the beef wellington at $80++ is pricey but worth a try. Good for 1-2 people, if 2 then i'd suggest buying additional food items to share.

The beef was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender, and I'm very impressed with the side dishes as well. Just look at the glazed carrots, and the mashed potato was so smooth. The pastry surrounding the beef wasn't so crusty, more of the soft thin kind. Personally, I feel it's a good combination. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the experience.

This refreshing mocktail ($11) is made of tarragon, raspberry, apple, lemon juice and tonic. It's really balanced and fruity. That sourness from the lemon balanced with the tanginess of the berries. It especially paired well with the blueberry pancakes I had for brunch. My dining partner ordered this mocktail for me and I was really pleased by it.

How can Sherms see pancakes ($20) on the menu and not order them?

They were still steaming hot when they arrived, and the ice cream kinda mixed with the refreshing blueberry compote and started flowing down the sides of the stack, creating this rich glaze that was heavenly to behold. It was finished off with a drizzle of golden syrup.

The pancakes themselves had a lovely texture, moist and fluffy and a slightly earthy, buckwheat flavor to them. I was certainly surprised, for I didn't expect them to do the pancakes as well as they did. And it's such a generous portion too.

It's not my first visit to BSK, but it's my first time trying its Beef Wellington ($80 for 3 generous pieces). It's my first time eating Beef Wellington, period. And I see why Gordon Ramsay made such a big fuss about it.

It's really delicious, tender medium-rare filet with mushroom duxelle enveloped in a flaky puff pastry that seals all that flavor inside. Just wish there was a bit more mushroom? Could barely taste it. 🤔

However the beef is seared to perfection and super flavorful, especially with the red wine jus that is served alongside. Also there's the excellently done glazed carrots and mashed potato. It's pricey, and maybe there are better ones out there, but the bar certainly has been set high for future Beef Wellington. :)
