SWIPE for a cute pumpkin!!!! @breadtalksg: this is inspired by Yayoi’s art and it was superrrr cute so I got it!! The dough is carrot-flavoured and doesn’t taste like carrots btw, but I was a lil disappointed at the “pumpkin paste” filling 🥺. The filling is nice and is reminiscent of a sweet potato and kaya mixture but honestly doesn’t have the fragrance OR taste of pumpkin... hence I feel that this gets an overall 7.5/10 and is not worth the $1.60 (I meannnn if it’s not called Kabocha and is sold at $1.20, I would get it as a regular kaya bread HAHA)

SWIPE for a beautiful rose bun!!!! 🤩😻🤩 @breadtalksg nailed it with this CHILLED rose bun!! The pink paste is like Bandung, and the layer of cream was so lightly and totally not jelat at all!! The bread was also fluffy (even though it was chilled) and I love the rose petals studded on top of the bun 💕. Do try this bun out and let me know how you find it okie!!! (or if you’ve tried it, tell me whether you like it anot - since I know it can be quite a subjective taste hehe) ❤️🌹

The whipped cream was sooo light, not too sweet, and definitely not jelak in the slightest! I’d never think buns could be refreshing, but that’s exactly what these were!

The 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗲 bun has a really interesting flavour! The layer of an rose custard gave a pleasant subtle rose fragrance, it indeed tastes like BANDUNG! I was surprised by how much I liked this, seeing that I’m not a fan of the bandung drink, but this was aromatic and refreshing!

The 𝗞𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 is what you’d expect from a kaya bun, but nicely complemented by the light whipped cream! It’s a little on the sweeter side to me, but still really tasty.

Of the three, the 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 is probably the most normal tasting one, as the custard layer isn’t very distinct, masked under all the whipped cream. Anyway, since I love the whipped cream, I still enjoyed this one!

• Cake was delivered in good condition
• Not only does the cake look great, the taste is really great too👍🏻
• Not a big cake, just nice for a small gathering
• Cake with lots of mousse instead of sponge (chocolate sponge)
• Red bean filling together taste great with the Matcha mousse and the subtle Chocolate aroma
• The base of the cake has a different, harder texture than the rest of the cake, which adds to overall greatness

Think will be best to consume as soon as possible to enjoy the fullest and freshness
