I came for the butter chicken but unavailable. I'm not sure to call this dum biryani - the piece of chicken came within the rice, but it looked to have been cooked separately. Huge serving, although many biryanis are. The best thing was the accompanying curry and raita. The former was stronger than what's on the rice. Juice packet is part of the set meal.
Thanks to my visit to Brinda’s, my keto is effectively over hahaa. But I AM SO HAPPY!
$2 for egg prata. A little more but the place is air conditioned and its not bad. Prata freshly made. Could have a bit more tenderness. Fish gravy was ok but not special. Blueberry lassi is like thick yogurt almost and its sweet but still nice and not jelat ($3.80)
This is a must try if you are into Thosai. Kheema Thosai comes with a choice of chicken/mutton. We topped it up with cheese for additional $1.40. Thosai is nicely wrapped with meat inside and sauce is made of coconut. Couldn't taste the cheese in the end but meal was filling and satisfying nevertheless. Cost about $7+ for this meal.
Brinda's is located at Bukit Merah Central and opened 24 hours.
First time here and ordered Fish Briyani at about $8.80. Portion was quite big and the fish with curry taste good compared to other indian food stall's. The restaurant goes by fast-food chain concept whereby you order from the counter and it's self-service. It sells mostly Northern Indian food though there are still some southern indian food like roti prata. Best of all, they are opened 24 hours.
I think it's fair to call this an Indian cookie because it's kinda different from angmoh cookies.
