super worth it peranakan home cooked food!!
the Nyonya chap chye is a MUST TRY!!
lady fingers super awesome too
beef rendang and blue pea, everything is perfect! LOVE IT.
it's manned by 2 sisters (aged 50+ probably?) who cooked all these themselves! they grind the chili and curry paste from scratch! effort.
super home cooked

After burpple 50% off, the set meal is probably $4+ max including 2 desserts (either green bean or pulut hitam and jelly)

Got a 50% off mains. Paid $5.27 for this meal. Super worth it! Beef Rendang was on point and portion was huuuuuge! Will visit again.

Find affordable Nyonya food at Brosis Eatery located in Hougang for a sumptous lunch with your family on the weekend. Try the Assam Fish ($8.50) and Curry Chicken ($8.50) served with a side of rice. Burppler Russell Leong especially enjoyed the signature Babi Pongteh ($8.50), which "was quite delicious, with the pork stewed to supple softness. Due to the time taken for that, the umami flavours of the stew liquid has infused every last fibre of the pork and makes it tremendously tasty." End the meal on a sweet note with their Cendol Dessert ($2.20) and more!

Pleasant experience at Brosis Eatery. The set-up is like a cafe, with a menu specialising in Peranakan food. The food was affordable, tasty, and served with free agar agar and green bean soup.

The taste of all these dishes really reminds me of home cooked food! I really like the taste of their Assam Fish and Prawn Roll! The Babi PongTeh is quite salty so it’s better to go with the rice! The meal also comes with free desserts - green bean soup and Agar-agar!
I have to recommend you all to try their cendol because it really tasted like the one I tried in Penang! 😍😍😍

The assam fish is nice and indeed they are quite generous on the portion. Their prawn roll is a must try πŸ‘πŸ»
