Brotherbird Milk & Croissants (CT Hub 2)

The bf tried this, and he didn’t really like it. He felt that mashed potato in a croissant didn’t work for him. It did smell like its namesake though, so you can give it a try if you really like haebihiam and savoury croissants.

This was super crisp, as with their croissants, but i feel like its a bit one dimensional - crisp and that's all. Probably because it’s twice baked! The niangao wasn't too sweet and was nice n stretchy; the black sesame flavour while present, could have been more prominent. Would go for brotherbird croissants bc of the interesting flavours that they do. Would like to try their original / choc croissant to see if they do them well!

Black Forest Croissant filled with morello cherry ganache with dark chocolate. Morello cherry fillings are very sweet though, I like the dark chocolate flakes! 😜

It’s so tough to get a hand on these goodies! At least now they have more stocks for walk-ins and I managed to snatch 2 boxes.

I love how their menu changes every month and their flavours are very unique. Croissants are buttery, flaky and pretty huge.

Going for $30 for a box of 6, I think that’s alright for a treat once in awhile.

My favourite just gotta be their Ferrero Rocher one!!!

Original - light & crisp
Pain Au Chocolat
Kinder Bueno - filling quite sweet
Thai-Iced Tea - quite nice, not too sweet
Thai Basil Chicken - the Basil taste was a bit overwhelming
Sang-Kaya Mochi - not too sweet, nice Mochi texture

Eyes sparkle sparkle when I learnt that Orh Nee was flavour of the month. Hmmm, but things turn sour. Perhaps the coconut in the orh nee??? Anyway told the guys at brother Bird and they told me to put the crossiant right into the fridge if I'm not eating them right away. Anyway looking forward to their next month flavour. P/S, I work above CT Hub. If I start quring at 9.45am. I'll be sure to get all the flavour that I want and queue sped up once the shop opens at 10am sharp.
