Such a pretty dish! I had to take pictures of it from every angle! Salmon with giant Israeli couscous. The salmon was well paired with the brown butter miso sauce! Healthy and light. Order a Muddy espresso with cold milk to complete the meal.

Slightly spicy with two soft shell crabs and crispy fried fish cubes. I enjoyed it. The soft shell crabs were fresh. I didn't expect the crabs as the menu stated, battered squid. I didn't expect the rice to be spicy but it gave the dish an extra kick! Best part was, my teeth didn't turn black from the squid ink 😬

No stranger to Easties, this popular joint located on the second floor of Tampines West CC is heralded for consistent, quality brunch offerings. Visit on the weekends for the tried and tested Butcher's Daughter ($16) – excellent medium rare seared sous vide beef alongside creamy scrambled eggs. For something light, the Dashi Noodles ($8.90) in a bonito broth with pulled chicken and onsen egg should do the trick. Get the aromatic Muddy Espresso ($5.50) with cold milk to finish.

Would have been too light for my usual liking as the taste profile is rather singular🙈 Nonetheless, still a good spot for meetups/dialogues as it's located just beside HQ🤭

Thick fluffy waffles! Would be perfect if there's a scoop of ice-cream (+$1.50)
Some of the berries are abit sour but it is still a satisfying dessert!

Toast with salmon and 2 eggs with a side of salad.

Good combination of flavour and texture. Could still taste the smoked salmon admist the different layers of flavour. Would definitely come here to try more of their brunch menu.

Good ambience on the 2nd floor of twcc. Good place for catching up with friend as well as small family gathering.

They have a different menu for brunch and well as lunch/dinner!

I looooved the mushrooms on this plate. It was so juicy and flavourful. Everything else was normal (which is not a bad thing).

We also tried the sous vide beef but it was overcooked so that was disappointing... I’ll recommend to stick to the breakfast platters

[Muslim Owned] It’s been awhile since I had this, but I do remember thinking it wasn’t exactly wow-worthy. And that’s probably because it lacked complexity but it wasn’t packing a punch in its limited arsenal of savoury flavours.

But it was moderately delicious as it isn’t a dish that prides on very precise choices of ingredients. I mean, a shashuka is pretty similar to a Stu Surprise if you ask me - using ingredients in your kitchen pantry to whip up a delicious dish. It’s just...for $14, you know…it’d be great to have some unique flair to it. 🤔 (7/10)

Decked out in warm and cosy feels, this popular Muslim-owned spot in Tampines makes a mean breakfast! The Butcher's Daughter ($16) is what you're here for — an excellent medium rare cut with creamy eggs and a side salad. On coffee, the Muddy Espresso ($5.50) with cold milk does the job for hot, humid mornings.

Waited 35 mins for the fresh fruit waffle as they claimed that the system is down and didnt receive my order (though the muddy espresso is ready in 15mins). Not the most crispy or fluffy waffle I had but comes with generous amount of fruit.

Serving up breakfast and brunch items only on the weekends and public holidays, Brothers In Fine Food have finally found their anchor when it comes to keeping a healthy crowd. They’re quite well-known for this dish, as I’ve seen a number of photos of this circulating Instagram and how I saw the same dish delivered to a number of tables when I was there. 👀

Exactly what makes this a crowd favourite? A combination of many factors that make it a formidable and more innocuous contender to McDonald’s oft-flimsy and overpriced Big Breakfast. This comes with a steak of your preferred doneness, eggs in your preferred style, a side of fries and some salad. It’s diametrically opposite to fast food - it’s hearty, breakfast that feels like a homemade Sunday comfort food. 😍🤤🍳

The steak was seasoned enough to accentuate its beefy flavour, the eggs were fluffy and creamy. The salad admittedly could use a more zesty dressing, to bring out the contrast to the umami flavours with its bright, tangy flavour.

Still, you know how Dua Lipa talks about how one kiss is all it takes to fall in love with her? Well, for this, one bite instead is all it takes to fall in love with it. 😂(7.7/10)

Artisan milk coffee done right- there, right there *gulps* 💆‍♀️

I honestly didn’t have high expectations at first. But, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was for this price range.

Waffles with chicken karage, beef bacon and maple syrup was pretty good and for only $8. Chicken was crispy and juicy (I was expecting cold soggy chicken) and the waffles were quite fluffy.

Roasted chicken was also succulent and paired quite nicely with the yuzu sauce. ($20 for a full chicken not bad)

Duck ragout pasta is under the “Smalls” section in the menu. It isn’t THAT small for $7 and it was quite good too. And lastly truffle fries for $6 which is also pretty decent. Overall quite a satisfactory meal 👌🏻

昨天在去參加青年峰會慶功會之前先到附近的咖啡廳吃早午餐💞 Their Builder's Breakfast is pretty good, but the Butcher's Daughter cooked to medium rare wasn't to our liking. Perhaps medium well/ well done would be more suitable for brunch 🙈

Beef ribs with medan spiced kecap reduction.
Simply excellent. 12/10.

Salmon with brown butter miso and giant Israeli couscous was zing. The brown butter miso, with the couscous was a right balance of sweet-savory flavors. Quality food with interesting fusion ideas. Only down side is the portion size.

Having the peanut butter jelly toast ($10) and spiked muddy espresso ($6.5) here at 4pm and you can see how popular this cafe is as people are stilling coming in at this late hours for brunch! Takes a while (~15mins) for the food to arrive but the portion of the toast is larger than i expected! Felt that its a bit difficult to finish towards the end but the toast in general is quite good, rich in flavour and basically something you would like since small (with peanut butter, jam and banana). The spiked muddy comes with gula melaka but i cant tell the difference with the original one.

Have you ever wondered if it’s possible to have a taste of fine dining food at affordable prices? At @brothersinfinefood, that is a reality! Known for their tasty brunch selections, you should definitely check out their Lunch&Dinner menu too! Their concept is simple: bring fine dining standard food accessible to the community (that’s why they’re situated at Tampines West community club!)😇 For desserts, we had the Nagasari ($8) which consists of steamed coconut flour, caramelised bananas, gula melaka foam, sauteed coconut shavings. I fell in love with the dish after that first bite—the coconut shavings truly accentuate the taste of this traditional-inspired dessert. Plus points: the service was impeccable with friendly and knowledgeable staff all ready to assist you😉 do note that waiting time for food can be awhile because they really want you to experience fine dining where people eat at a leisurely pace and that involves taking the time and effort to truly prepare your orders to perfection. Can’t wait to try their brunch soon! 😋

For Mains, we tried their Squid Ink Rice with Soft Shell Crab ($17). The squid ink tasted like a mix of lemak cili padi and nasi rawon —spicy though! A bigger portion of the soft shell crab would be great to balance the generous portion of the rice.
