Tried this dish with 1 for 1 deal and the noodle was great! Flavourful and tasty, meat were tender and noodle texture was just right. Totally worth giving it a try!

Tasty bowl of creamy laksa, big prawns, half hard boiled egg, taupok & bean sprouts.

Slurp the noodles together with the laksa soup.

Smooth aromatic coffee!

I enjoyed the drunken chicken truffle noodle the first time I was here so I thought I'd try something different on my second visit.

The laksa was really oily as you can see quite clearly from the photo. The layer of oil on top was really thick. The noodles they used tasted like those sold in the supermarket, didn't taste very fresh.

I would come back again to eat the drunken chicken truffle noodle but I would not order the laksa again.

A small cafe nestled at a corner along balestier road. Second time trying this truffle noodle dish and still very impressed. When you first collect the dish at the counter, the truffle scent is really distinctive. However, the noodles doesn't have the strongest truffle taste and can be quite mild for some people. Despite this, I really like the sauce of the noodle. Slightly vinegary and salty, it packs a punch together with the al dente noodles. The chicken by the side is really tender, though I did wish the taste to be slightly stronger. The ramen egg is very well seasoned with the yolk done just right. Really recommend anyone in the area to try this unique and tasty dish! 👍 Add on a dollar to the set for a bubble tea upgrade (quite good too)

Strawberries Fairy Honey Toast - $6.80
Crispy toast that’s drizzled with honey for extra sweetness. Topped with specially made cheesy cream that melts in your mouth. Garnish with berries and a spoonful of coco power. It’s always a nice dessert after the main course. Thank you Brown Sugar & @burpple for hosting

All in the festive mood, why not switch up your daily dose of traditional morning toast during tea break with Brown Sugar’s Premium Honey Toast?! Located beside Value Hotel Balestier, the cafe specializes in local coffee, bubble tea, toasts and for something more substantial a small menu of Asian Delights - familiar rice and noodle dishes with a little twist.

Opened by the team behind Living Botanica; a premium fruit tea kiosk at Marina Bay Link Mall, they have, of course, brought over their signature handmade cream cheese. Recommended by the staff, the Strawberry Fairy Honey Toast with handmade Cheesiato ($6.80/ U.P $9.80) came well-toasted and crisp. Slathered in the smooth, frothy cheese cream and drizzles of honey, the pile of golden-brown cubes were stacked with fresh berries and finished off with a spoonful of Milo powder atop.

Though the flavour of the cheese was not pronounced, the hint of savouriness was still pretty evident. Not at all cloying, the consistency of the cream was also a good match to the chunky toast cubes. And on weekdays, they are running a special offer between 2.00pm to 6.00pm where each order of honey toast comes with a cuppa coffee or tea.

Thank you @burpple for the eatup invite!
