I just walked from Everton Park to Neil Road for this pancake. I just like their pancake ($1.40) especially coconut flake is not usual orange but in green but their pancake is full of eggy flavour. I think I come back for different flavour instead.
This was my favourite, with the shredded coconut being pretty fragrant and moist, albeit a little too sweet. Would also love for more fillings considering the pastry itself was quite thick.
Felt that there were too much sugar bits such that the peanut flavour was less strong/ fragrant than it might have been.
If you like those green tea mooncake kind of green tea flavoured pastes, you'd like this. I personally didn't mind it?
This was defo more like red bean paste than black ssm, which I guess was kinda expected as I didn't hold much high expectations :').
Located at Neil Road, @bubugaosheng.pancake offers Min Jiang Kueh in different forms and flavours, making you pretty spoilt for choice!
Taro
It did look like a thick creamy paste, but was kinda sad that it didn't taste like taro? There was also a strong planta taste which I wasn't a fan of. Have to give credits to all their MJK pastry though, as they were all soft, moist and chewy, albeit a little too thick for my liking.
