Curry chicken noodle with a broth that was fragrant, rich and light enough to sip. Steamed chicken was tender, tau pok soaked up the curry and the potatoes were
soft but still holding their shape without turning mushy. Noodles carried the flavour well. It’s the kind of comfort food that feels especially right on a cold day 》$5.50

The minced meat was savoury and the mushroom added a nice earthy depth, giving the bowl plenty of flavour. However, the noodles itself didn’t live up. It was sticky, clumped together and felt overcooked which made the whole dish harder to enjoy. Despite the good flavours, this bowl just didn’t deliver 》$4.50

Got the platter for two and skipped the braised egg and tau kwa. I got a spread of big and small intestines, pig skin, pork belly, tau pok and fish cake that came all deeply infused with that rich, dark soy braise.
The braised sauce was rich and full-bodied, soaking beautifully into the bowl of silky kway. Every ingredient was well-braised, soaking up all that goodness. The pork belly had a great balance of lean and fat, while the intestines were clean and tender. The salted vegetables were a great add-on, bringing a tangy contrast that kept every bite fresh and balanced. Simple, hearty and packed with depth.

Yellow noodles soak up a mildly sweet, starchy braised sauce, coating each strand with deep, comforting flavour. Tender fish chunks, juicy shredded braised pork and crispy fried chicken create a mix of textures that keep every bite interesting.
The golden-fried yam roll adds a crisp contrast, while the hard-boiled egg offers a firm bite. For the perfect finishing touch, don’t skip the garlic, chilli and vinegar 》$5.50
📍 Jue Shuang Braised Delights (觉双卤面) | #02-K24
The charcoal peanut mee jiang kueh had a wonderfully soft and chewy texture, with a hint of charcoal flavour. The highlight was undoubtedly the peanut filling—perfectly balanced with a creamy, peanut-buttery richness and a satisfying crunch. The mix of textures paired with the nutty sweetness was absolutely irresistible 》$1.60
