Tried the new item on their menu. For someone like me who doesnt eat spicy, the soup may be abit spicy. I like that the pork slices were tender. There was a lot of tofu and the tofu is really smooth and good. I didn really like the ramyeon, could be cook abit longer.

Finally tried their Dumpling Soon Tofu Rice Set ($6.90) after seeing for a while. I saw their bowl really mini and small tbh and serving is quite small tbh but it's got me so full lol. Heard that their Tofu Rice Set really value meal for this. Don't really recommended to come back for trying again as the soup broth was really salty tbh for me.

It's not often a restaurant opens a hawker stall selling its restaurant dishes at hawker centre prices. SBCD Korean Tofu House did just that, and I was intrigued.

The sets at Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu range from $6 to $8. Considering these are sold at the restaurant at more than $20, I'd say it's very worth it. Each set comes with rice, kimchi and a packet of seaweed.

The 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝘂 𝗦𝗲𝘁 ($7) came with plentiful thin slices of tender beef, while the 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝘂 𝗦𝗲𝘁 ($7) had two big pork dumplings. While these were pretty decent, the real star was the tofu.

"Soon" means soft in Korean, and the humongous pieces of tofu in the earthen pots with the beef / dumplings were really silky smooth. They broke apart at the mere touch with a spoon. The orange-hued broth in the same pot was amazing as well and I finished every last drop of it.

However I thought the portion was rather small. $7 for a meal in a heartland kopi tiam is not exactly cheap, and I wished the servings could be bigger to justify the price.

I added 3 mandus for $4.50 which I find it abit pricey. The mandus were very crispy but it reminds me of the mandus from CJ brand. I find the portion abit little. The soup was just nice. They used pork slices, like shabu shabu. The tofu was really silky. I would come back once in a while.

Their fresh silken Soon Tofu is made with premium Korean soybean 🌟 from the pristine Paju, South Korea 🇰🇷. The 10-ingredient secret soup recipe guarantees a rich robust-tasting soup. 🥣

I had the Assorted Soon Tofu Set ($8), which comprises seafood like prawns 🦐, clams, squid 🦑 as well as meats like beef slices 🐄. We also tried their Pork Soon Tofu Set ($7), topped with a pretty generous serving of thin pork slices 🐖. The sets are served with rice, kimchi & seaweed for a wholesome meal.

A warm and comfortable food you can get from the coffee shop, an affordable concept by SBCD Korea Tofu House.

For $7, you get a decent bowl of tofu soup with tender pork, kimchi and seaweed. The tofu was super smooth and tasty soup as well.
