The taste of the Mee Soto soup was fantastic, full of flavour and not too salty. The Shredded Chicken was pretty tasty and very generous. The noodles was slurpy with crunchy sprouts at bottom. Also beware of their padi chilli as they are super hot and spicy!

Tried the bigger portion Lor Mee for $4 and it made me really happy. The noodles was slurpy, gravy was thick and full of umami flavour with lots of ingredients. Ingredients include fried wanton, braised egg, ngoh hiang, fried fish and strips of pork belly. Everything was so perfectly blended together just like they were made for each other. Remember to add Vinegar, Garlic and Chilli to further enhanced the taste.

Love their Bak Chor Noodle as it came with a generous serving of ingredients ( Minced Pork, Meatballs, Braised Mushrooms and Pig Livers). Best to add their crispy beancurd skin for extra $1 as it’s really crispy and crunchy. The noodle was full of Umami flavour and springy. Soup was not too salty and the pig livers was cooked just right as it get harden if overcooked. Overall, it’s absolutely delicious.

Price is really reasonable in view of the generous portion of duck meat and fish cake given. The bowl of noodle was covered with flavourful gravy and the duck meat was savour and tender. Both the Handmade noodle and the fish cake were nice and chewy. Don’t miss out on their sambal chilli as they are super delicious.

We were looking for a slightly healthier option at Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre and we landed on the Day Night Herbal Soup stall! 😋 We ordered the chicken soup with white fungus and we added the brown rice for a healthier carbs option! The brown rice tasted really healthy although it was a tad dry, and we had to eat it with the red chilli paste to give the dish some flavour! For the soup, we felt the chicken taste could have been stronger (perhaps the chicken wasn't boiled long enough) although it was great that the soup wasn't overly oily!

We added on the braised cabbage for $1 and that was a nice side dish to have! The only bad thing about dining here is that it's ridiculously difficult to find seats at this hawker centre due to the safe management measures. :(

We ordered the minced pork fishball noodles from You Xiang Teochew Noodles today! The upsized portion costs $3.50 and it comes with fishballs, dumplings, mushrooms, fishcakes and a little bit of minced pork. To be honest, we felt that the stall could be a little more generous with the minced pork especially since this is the upsized portion.

You can choose between Mee Pok and Mee Kia for the noodles and we went with Mee Kia this time! However, the noodles were a little on the soggier side today and they were not as springy as they were previously. Guess it is a little difficult to be consistent with the noodle texture! However, we still think the noodles are above average and $3.50 for an upsized dish is a fairly good deal.

The queue can be pretty long during mealtimes so you need to be prepared to queue!
