In between a brownie & cookie, The Backyard Bakers terms this a Brookie — coming in a range of flavours from banana to macadamia nuts, this Choc chip & pink salt was my first pick! My only gripe is that they’d had been more generous w the salt so that it’s featured more prominently :/

Pretty similar to the herbivore cashew pesto, except with some chicken. The chicken didn’t do anything for me, but the avo was great as usual :)

I understand the cult following for their bakes now. I’ve previously only tried their smashed avo sourdough, and I resisted their bakes bc it was sinful and I was training. But I got this for free as part of a random promotion, where they give u a free brownie (normally $4-$4.50) when you get a main + drink.

These were super good!! The brownie was moist and rich, yet not too sweet. The banana in the middle was gooey and warm, really glad that I got this flavour! Shared half with my brekkie buddy, but the next time I’m back (after my marathon) I will chomp down >1 brownie.

Oh ya their coffee was good too!

I’ve seen many reviews on how delicious their brownies are, and a couple of reviews regarding the poor service. Despite feeling kinda apprehensive, I still went ahead to order a brownie for myself!

I followed all their order instructions strictly, but went down slightly earlier than the proposed collection time (as stated on their IG - at your own risk!) Fortunately for me, my brownie was baked fresh and ready for collection. Didn’t experience any of the horrible service as mentioned by some other users.

To be fair maybe this place is not so friendly for people who chance upon the shop while walking in the area, since menu is only available online. But if you made a pre-order online, the service is really quick and efficient (and you can make cashless payment through PayNow/Paylah!)

I gotta say their service is horrendous. Had to preorder through Instagram and Instagram only. But everything goes so well together - raisin bread, guac, cherry tomatoes, lettuce and candied bacon. They are really generous with their guac.

I spent some time looking for their shopfront, it’s located outside the mall facing the roads. Small seating area with only 2 square tables.

Not exactly cheap, paid $25+ for one sandwich, 1 brookie and 2 brownies. That being said, it may take a while before I go down again but I would definitely still wanna try out their other food and offerings.

I thought I wouldn’t have any more reason to review BUNDT but apparently my numerous rave reviews caught the eye of my friends and one went so far as to order an assorted handful of black cocoa brownies for me, intending to assemble them together as a birthday cake knowing how much I liked their baked goods.

So what happened to the supposed brownie cake? Looks like I wasn’t alone in my previous experience regarding preordering of items.

Then again, if you read BUNDT’s updated Store Policy, a pre-order does not necessarily mean you’ll get your item although the kind people at BUNDT endeavour to fulfill your preorder as best they can. So don’t be disappointed just because you pre-ordered an item and your order was acknowledged.

Despite that, I’ve got good news for you:

1. The Chocolate Chip & Sea Salt Black Cocoa Brownie is flawless. Not too sweet, intensely chocolatey, with a good amount of sea salt granules to provide contrast. I enjoyed the crunch from the baked exterior, chocolate chips, and sea salt which were embedded in a moist, dense brownie. Solid bakes for sure.

2. Burpple reviews are read and noted. So you can be sure the owners are aware when you have feedback, and clearly know whatever you feel about the place. Try to read all their FAQs, Store Policy, How To Order guidelines before attempting to order :)
