This was still hot. Not bad when it's hot, the bun is slighty more pleasantly chewy than normal and the yam wasn't as sweet as Kaya. Otherwise really not a super noteworthy place

💸: $-

💬: not the worst cake I've had, but also not one that I'd want to repurchase

Cream Cheese ($1.90) - my favourite
Cheese Hot Dog ($1.60)
Raisin Sugar ($1.60)
Available at @bunnies_singapore
Don’t know why but the raisin one smell like got cinnamon in it.

I never knew how affordable the buns here were! A rather unassuming shop without much fanfare, Bunnies is one of those typical bakeries that you would walk past without giving it a second look. Only happened to try them thanks to a group buy order I had. Offering a wide array of options, you'd be spoilt for choice here. Be it curry, kaya, red bean, yam, egg mayo, you named it, they have it! Think, the old school buns that used to be all the hype back when I was a kid, where bakeries sell them in an aluminium tray of 6. Boasting the same soft, fluffy texture, these buns were also slightly sticky to the touch, just like how I remembered them to be! Priced affordably at $2 per packet, the bread was packed with ingredients but I do wish they serve it in slightly bigger portion 🤣

The crust is so meh :( Okay they’re quite generous with the filling, and even though I can taste the salted bean flavour, there was not much fragrance. It’s good that it’s not too salty tho, since they give a lot of filling. Tasted nicer towards the end but my initial thought was okay I’m never getting this again. My dad told me today that he liked it?? Maybe because it’s pretty light in flavour, doesn’t taste too sinful

Bread was superrrr soft n floofy, to the point that I was afraid of squishing it if I held it in my hand. The red bean was rather nice to me, with an acceptable amount of sweetness. Coco filling was nice too! It wasn’t dry, rather joosy. Would repurchase! Also, it’s very value for money.
