Why didn't I know about this burger bar earlier? This was the thought I had when I left the restaurant with both my heart and stomach full.

The Raclette Burger with Beef Patty ($26) was one beautifully juicy burger, with a wonderfully thick slab of Raclette cheese. Biting into this brings out a myriad of flavours coming from the juicy beef patty, savoury cheese and most importantly, the recommended cream pepper sauce. The cream pepper sauce was rich and I loved the amazing aroma that comes from the black pepper after. This is one bloody good burger.

The Monsieur Burger with Crispy Chicken Patty ($24) was really good as well! The thick chicken patty had a good crispy batter and juicy flavourful meat within. This is paired well with the crispy hashbrown and flavourful BBQ sauce. Lovely flavours coming from this as well.

All their burgers come with handmade fries, which were really addictive as they were well seasoned and surprisingly creamy inside! Portions of fries were so huge we couldn't finish!

Definitely will be back. I would rate this as one of the best burgers I've had really!

Those gorgeous homemade fries looked and tasted familiar, until I was told they share a boss with Braseiro, which I hated! But I had a completely opposite experience here. Everything was great. My limited-time burger contained a 180g flame-grilled US Angus beef patty, hash brown, sauteed onion, tomato, lettuce, cheese and BBQ sauce. It overwhelmed me - in a good way. The crunchy hash brown complemented the already good patty. The cream pepper sauce was addictive for the double-fried frites.

Such a delightful experience! ⠀
The Joo Chiat Road burger joint only sells a few items and you'll be tempted to try all. so walk off the food by exploring the hood. there's so much to see.

All hail to the new burger king of the East baby. Newly opened Burger Frites is the brainchild of the owner of Joo Chiat steakhouse staple Braseiro(in fact, it’s right across the road).

The patties may be from Huber’s and the brioche buns, Maison Kayser, but this beast is more than the sum of its parts. Each 180g Angus beef patty is flame-grilled to mouthwatering perfection, simply accessorised with a slice of melted cheese, pickles, lettuce and ketchup and put between pillowy toasted buns. The ratio of filling to bread is spot on, as is the flavourful and juicy patty that strikes the right balance between hefty density and melt-in-your-mouth crumbliness.

We didn’t expect THIS MUCH fries, but the hand-cut, skin-on, twice-fried potatoes were so good we cleaned them out.

Taste: 3.5/5

Awesome burger joint in a heritage estate! Soft buns with 180g of juicy patty. Their fries is a must order too!

Juicy angus beef patty piled with pickles, lettuce, onion, tomato and ketchup. A very satisfying burger. The handmade fries were crispy outside and powdery-like inside. Can’t stop dipping them into the chipotle mayo.
