I won't say the best meal I've had. But to have lobsters stuffed into toast bread is surely a bucket list for my foodie craving.
So I chewed in for this experience despite rocking up on a Saturday evening without prior reservation.
The toast was good. Crispy and fresh. The lobster chunks was generous in a way.
But the fries failed me. It was at best, ordinary.
Trouble is, when you're in it for an extraordinary lobster sandwich, and you pay extra for fries and salad, you'd expect more to be done in the fries department.

Ok the meal was not bad, but the service was cold. For an outlet in posh Raffles Hotel, you'd expect more.
Definitely didn't live up to expectations. But at least the lobster in a bread experience is now crossed off the list.
Probably no need to revisit.

This is an appetizer with a base of crisp stringy rosti potato, having robust salty starchy savoury flavour. It's rather oily.
.
Topped with creamy spiced guacamole with earthy vegetal sweet spice flavour, and succulent chunks of fresh bouncy deshelled lobster meat with bright natural sweet briny salty flavour.
.
Some lime juice and dollops of basil pesto complete, lending tangy zesty sour herbal earthy vegetal notes.

This has chunks of bouncy whole baby squid, coated in a crisp salted egg yolk batter, spiced with curry leaves and red chili.

The result is a bold savoury salty sweet flavour to the appetizer, with hints of spice. Rather addictive.

Nice decor and ambiance. Sat by the bar and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The Lobster Roll was good though not great. The brioche bun was buttery and fluffy, the lobster was fresh but could have had more sweetness.

Went for the combo for four which comes with a 1.5lb lobster, four mains, four sides and four drinks. While it was pretty good value, I would probably return just for the very satisfying lobster roll ($28)
