Decent, not great is how I would describe BURN. I got the Blackened Tuna and it came with potato salad and fresh avocado chimmichuri. The potato salad was tasty, what with the amount of mayo on it, and was sufficient to cover my carbs intake for the meal. The ladyfingers also provided a much needed crunch to the meal which was rather dull. Tuna was tender and soft, nothing great to shout about. Portions weren’t big though, so if you’re here to have a filling lunch then you might find yourself better off somewhere else.

Beautifully presented. Served with beetroot salad and pumpkin.

Prawn very well cooked and portion size was fair.

Wood fired lamb chops, they call it lamb cutlet for some reason .

Authentic Australian Lamb, very well cooked. Juicy with a burnt taste. Served with quinoa rice.

We ordered 2 mains here at Burn, and we both felt that they were overall not great. The portions were small as well. Though the pork belly was soft and tender, it carried a tangy sauce which wasn’t all that complimentary. The cous cous which accompanied the pork belly was a tad salty as well. The charcoal steak was tasty but not the most tender. All in all, I don’t think that we would be returning here and even less so without the 1-1 deal.

An off menu item the staff recommended!

I'm not the biggest usually fan of pork (or lard with the whole melt-in-your-mouth experience), but these pork chops had such an irresistible char to them - crisp on the surface, tender and juicy inside.
