Established itself to be one of Asia’s most exciting places to dine in, @burntends_sg is a modern Australian BBQ restaurant that offers a rather casual dining experience, with counter seats looking directly into the open-concept kitchen. No joke you have to reserve up to 3 months in advance, especially for the Saturday slots!

👉Flank Steak, Burnt Onion & Bone Marrow - SGD28 per 100g

The steak was perfectly medium-rare, with a beautiful pink centre and a slight spring when cut into. Despite using a leaner cut of beef, I’m utterly impressed😌 by how tender and succulent each slice was. Furthermore, the burnt onion purée and buttery bone marrow complemented the meaty steak really well too👍.

P.S. That’s 150g btw if you’re curious🙃

👉Burnt Ends' Sanger - SGD20
pulled pork shoulder, cole slaw, chipotle aioli, brioche bun

This is probably one of the best burgers🍔 available in Singapore that will surely give you the best bang for your buck💸, as well as your tummy. Perfect for sharing between two, it looks simple but yet so delectable😋. You can’t say you been @burntends_sg if you don’t order this...😉

P.S. Seem like you can actually order this through @deliveroo_sg sia

Featured are the starters and a mind-blowing dessert to end off the meal on a charred yet sweet note.
👉Grissini & Taramasalata - SGD12
👉Smoked Quail Egg & Caviar - SGD15 (per egg)
👉Beef Marmalade & House Pickle - SGD14
👉Jamaican Chicken & Lime Crema - SGD10
👉Marshmallow - SGD2 (per stick)

Every dish was reasonably priced (except maybe for the Smoked Quail Egg & Caviar?) and so well-executed by the chefs. No doubt the explosion of smoky rich flavours when bitten into the egg was memorable, but for $15? I’d actually order another plate of Grissini & Taramasalata instead😂. The shatteringly crisp flatbread comes with a nice layer of salted fish roe and topped with a thick blanket of fresh chives & dill. Love this so so much!

If you think you know how to roast/bbq a marshmallow to perfection, I had to burst your bubble💭. Try theirs to believe it!

This has got to be my favourite dish on their menu! Humble sounding dish but tasted soooo good.

For dessert, we got the Berry Tart ($12) and Marshmallow ($2). Presented with a soft airy quenelle of Chantilly cream, the tart was warm, buttery and slightly crumbly. Exceeding expectations, the base had an awesome texture and was of a thinner variant which is what I personally prefer. Very summery, the mixed berries offered a delectable combination of sweet and sourness - so comforting after the lineup of savoury items.

On a roll, the Beef Tenderloin, Burnt Onion and Bone Marrow ($28+/100g) served with a small heap of watercress, was utterly delightful. Impossibly succulent and almost melty, the cuts were pretty in pink. The sapid slab of beef was really enjoyable for me as it was perfectly charred on the outside and kept moist on the inside. Also loving the buttery quality to the onion purée and the sauce from the bone marrow - full-bodied yet not cloying so.
