The next one also my top fave leh 🤩🤩🤩 Not everyone is into floral cakes but if you are, YOU ARE GONNA LOVE THE LAVENDER CAKE 💜 I was blown away by just how rich it was on first bite! Soooo rich and creamy and just... so much lavender. Best . lavender . cake . of . my . life 💜⁣

P.S. @koidb had the longest queue time for me. Was in line for an hour to get ALL these desserts (no regrets la). But was informed to wait *another hour* (which means re-queuing!!) if I wanted to order from the next batch of their Garden By The Bay cake which they created exclusively for sg/this event 🥺 Uh like that then nvm lor... haha.⁣

If I wanted to queue 2-3 hours, I would have gone for Lune’s 🥐 ⁣

Lol could only watch Chef Reynold making the base of the Garden By The Bay cake. Haha both 👨🏻‍🍳 and 🍰... can see cannot touch. 🤪

Fortunately, we had kakis to queue, wait, eat, drink and chat with to enjoy the experience.
Our brunch picks were from Auction Room for their Breakfast Board and Brioche toast, and Roast for their really yummy Carbonara Tagliatelle.
Cakes from Koi tasted as spectacular as they looked, certainly reaffirming our desire to return to Sydney for more.
The tea with fresh fruits from Pushers was alternative from the brews from St. Ali, Switch Coffee Tokyo and Roots, etc.
Lune was out of our plan from the start state, with the crazy queue for only their original croissant available here. We were just glad that we got to try them during our recent Melbourne trip.
On the whole, the experience was a good one b’cos of the companions more than the food and drinks at the event. After all, there’re many good cafes in SG too.
