9,000 won seemed pretty reasonable given the size of the tiramisu, which was seriously gigantic 😹 it was about the size of a brick or more, hence no wonder why almost everyone couldn't finish it. As much of a dessert person i was, this took me quite some time to finish too 😹

A thin layer of matcha powder coats the top of the tiramisu, coupled with sprinkles of chopped pistachios, completed with some fresh fruits. You can't tell from the picture, but there is a pretty thick bottom layer of coffee soaked sponge so you aren't just downing spoonfuls of green tea cream.

The green tea cream was thick and velvety-a little on the richer side, so the assortment of fruits was definitely needed to prevent it from getting jelat. The bottom sponge layer had quite a strong coffee fragrance too, achieving a pleasant bittersweet balance with the sweet cream layer.

Had also ordered a Yuzu ade (8,000 won) which was citrusy and served as a refreshing accompaniment to the tiramisu.

Topped with fresh strawberry slices that added a tangy note, adding another dimension of flavour to the mild , lingering bitter undertone and earthy notes of the smooth, creamy luscious green tea flavoured mascarpone cream cheese. That being said, the characteristic earthy, umami flavour of green tea was lacking greatly here, distinct but mild, not for the hardcore matchaholics. The thin base layer of ladyfinger biscuit would have been better with a greater infusion of coffee, whereby the one here seems to be have been a touch-and-go dip into the caffeine pool .

2️⃣Classic Kingsize Tiramisu [8000 won ~> $9.60]
Dusted with coco powder that added a bittersweet flavour profile to the smooth, creamy and luscious mascarpone cream cheese! 💕 The aroma of coffee was much more prominent here, coupled with the lingering bitter undertone that served as a perfect counterbalance to the divine, decadent sweet treat. Would have been even better if there was a higher ratio of cake : cream, since the tiramisu here comprises of 90% mascarpone cream cheese and a mere 10% of ladyfinger biscuit base .

3️⃣ Iced green tea latte [6500 won ~> $7.80]
Requested for no syrup but... it was still sweet with barely any matcha flavour. Perhaps it’s a Korea “custom” here to serve sweet & milky green tea lattes, judging from my previous experiences at other cafes (not specialized in matcha) as well! 😅 If you are one who’s into matcha & green tea, it’s highly advisable to give this a miss and just head for the tiramisu, which is much more distinct in matcha flavour. //
On a side note, the ambience and aesthetics of this cafe is 💯, perfect for chilling over a cuppa or taking your OOTD shots! 📸 .
