Whilst the crayfish delivered with Chan BBQ-esque efficiency (that's the popular BBQ stall at Bedok 85 - STB Consultant) and the zingy tom yum scallops paid homage to LiHo by applying stringy cheese on their heads, the salted egg element of the naked-flavoured prawns was absent, probably off somewhere conducting signalling checks. 3.5/5

Tastes exactly how you'd imagine it to, with the buttered toast cubes being suitably soft and so much peanut butter action happening in every crevice and along every surface, they should rename this sinful pleasure Fifty Peanuts Darker. 3.9/5

The broth eschewed the conventional hearty pigginess of ramen broth for a cleaner, ocean-steeped and wine-fragrant approach. Elsewhere, the spaghettini possessed the al dente firmness of a Yoga Movement yogi's torso. 3.8/5

The pasta was non-clumpy and individualistic with the toned firmness of a Gymmboxx instructor, while the soft shell crab tempura was reliably crispy. Elsewhere, the coal-red, pleasurably spicy sauce played it more tomato than eggy sweet, but the supple crab chunks brought the chilli crab concept home. 4.1/5

The gigantic prawn possessed a grilled smokiness, springy bounce and fresh sweetness worthy of its royal origins. Elsewhere, the thick and creamy sauce coated the firm and well-cooked pasta fairly thinly, with the salted egg bringing its best game forward without the proceedings ever reaching clumpy and overly-wet territory. 4/5

A decent light breakfast to start the day ($8.90 for croissant & $5.50 for a big mug of capp). Convenient if you are staying at Hotel Yan upstrais. Coffee is also good. An overall pleasant experience
