Was really excited to try their Bingsu... but was rather disappointed as I felt that the ice was coarser than I expected. 😕
I also felt that there was too much red bean in both of the bingsus, the sweetness of the red bean overpowered everything. 😕Probably not the best place to have Bingsu 😅
I just love everything that goes with Matcha and am happy that it is all around the city. Currently on a quest to try all the best matcha desserts here. If you know any placse, please do tell. 😭
When you need cheesey goodness and a great view to the rescue. Cafe bene's Garlic thick toast drizzled in honey, with a layer of grilled Parmesan and finally doused in cheese sauce. The most wonderful afternoons are made of this, my trusty Sweet Potato Latte and a deck view of the sea.
Found a little bit of serenity among the holiday crowds. Tried a warm cup of Misugaru Latte instead of my usual goguma latte (sweet potato latte) when I visit Korean cafes. Malty, earthy flavour tones perfect for an overcast afternoon, even among the holiday crowds; Warm thick toast of oozy melty nacho cheese and garlic. 💫
Prices aren't Seoul-cheap (pardon me I had to 😛), where there's plenty of its branches. And no wifi here.

sometimes curiosity drain wallet. 😐 choco brownie flavour ($20+) I would say occasional #bingsu for sharing is fine. Otherwise a bit pricey for shave ice dessert. Well, maybe okay to be paying extra for atmosphere. Must keep in mind to eat ice kachang often, paired with own choice of cake or fruits. #sgfood #burpple
Apart from delectable desserts, Caffebene now offers a range of savoury mains such as pastas and wraps! Love the Ribeye Bulgogi Tri-colour Linguine, which is delightful to both the eyes and the palate!
Thick toast with oozy squiggles of what tastes like nacho cheese spiked with garlic. Tasty!
Just so you know, Misugaru is a Korean traditional grain powder, made of 7 to 10 different grains. After which, this bowl of snowflake is accompanied with cubes of azuki rice cakes. 🍨
What a delicious treat – warm and sticky, yet soft, mochi on a toasty Belgian waffle, topped with roasted soybean powder and sliced almonds. It's all quite dense in the mouth, but so satisfying.

The espresso was more acidic than I was used to, though I'm not sure how the flavour changes in the lattes/white coffees. I was allowed to choose the ice cream, and I got the yogurt one. Might seem weird, but it was so so good:))) very satisfying, it melts very slowly, and it's a TINY bit icy, but it goes damn well with the espresso(and it's also a pretty substantial scoop):> I would definitely come back for this Hahahah
