Just skip the mains and head straight to dessert.

Get the classic combination of fudgy brownie with vanilla ice cream and bananas. It will never go wrong with a cup of their Kopi you can choose from their 13 states Kopi menu.

Claypot E-Mee Laks - Thin fried noodles are served in laksa gravy, in a claypot.

Anyone at Malacca at this moment?
I cannot stress how much i always and must visit this quiet little nook at Jonker Street everytime i am in Malacca and only for the reason of this Kuih Batik. It reminds me so much of how i love eating Milo powder with a hint of water in it as a child and now this in a form of a solid form? Oh my and with bits and pieces of Marie biscuits and drizzled with more chocolate sauce. This is just warm, chewy and definitely one way you can satisfy your chocolate cravings.
Calanthe Art Cafe also serves up variety of coffee ranging from different roasting methods and beans from all 13 states of Malaysia. Talk about bringing back the good old days of kopitiam but in a modern way.

I was first introduced to this plate of sweetness by Ana, but I finally managed to try it in February 2014. In all honesty, I would say that for RM6+, it's not quite worth it as the slice given is actually really small.

Then again, once you've started eating, it's too sweet that you probably wouldn't even finish it. 👀

My advice is since Calanthe Art Cafe is famous for their coffee, you should order a cup of coffee to go with a place of this caramel slice. Maybe then that would do the trick. Who knows?

I tried both Malacca and Kedah coffees and also their specialties like KIM, etc. My favourite hangout when in Melaka.

We walked pass this cafe and thought it had a pretty interesting concept, featuring the different coffees from the different states in Malaysia. Truth to be told, I'm surprised about the different coffee brewed in the different states, making each one subtly different and unique in its own way. Also a great place to chill if you're exploring at Jonker Street.
