Southwestern Mexican Cuisine at @cali.singapore !

Featured here are the following food items:
-Wild Mushroom Soup: Fresh mushrooms! There are mushroom slices in it too! Love the crispy toasted garlic bread
-Cali Wings: These mid joint chicken wings in a thick coating of BBQ sauce!
-Chicken Fajita: I enjoyed this item so much!! There are served in a sizzling hot plate! The chicken is very juicy and marination was so tasty! Wrap them up with the tortilla wrap with a mixture of monterey jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole and salsa as well as mixed greens!
-Crayfish Pasta: Substantial portion of crayfish meat! Pasta was also cooked ald dente, tossed in juicy tomato sauce
-Mexican Brownie: This comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
-Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice: Super fresh!
-Ginger Ale

We had the seabass, agilo olio and margarita pizza as well as the brownie and Panna cotta.
Seabass was nice, with good presentation and taste. Agilo olio was comparable to others in the price point and margarita pizza left much to be desired. Tomatos looked small and inproportionate to the size of the pizza.
Brownie was nice, and went well with the ice cream but the Panna cotta left much to be desired. Passion fruit sauce overpowered the pudding, which much much smaller than expected

This place gives off slight Morganfield's vibes, with an extensive bar. The overall lunchtime ambience feels just like a tranquil restaurant you'd find at the lobby of a business hotel (which is exactly what it is, LOL).

If you're using the Entertainer or Burpple Beyond, note that the establishment allows only items under "Meat & Seafood" and "Fajitas" for redemption, excluding the Angus Rib Eye.

Ordered the Beef Cheek ($28++) and BBQ Baby Back Ribs ($28++) using Entertainer's 1-for-1 redemption. Both items were decently tender and yummy, but the portion for the ribs vs the cheek was like an upsized feast vs a kids meal.

Will return again for the ribs and fries though!

P.S. Note that while the discount of the second dish is given, the full service charge remains (i.e. the service fee of the second dish doesn't get waived off).

Used the 1 for 1 and got the sea bass and beef fajita for mains + the only two options for dessert which were the brownie and the lava cake.

The sea bass had a really gross soggy skin and came with a very skimpy amount of sides. The fajita was alright but the tortilla obviously came from a mass produced package, as did the accompanying salsa/guac/cheese/sour cream. Not sure why they are trying to brand as a Mexican restaurant when theyre not putting any effort into cooking it well. I’d be very annoyed about eating here without the 1 for 1.

The desserts were alright although the ice cream served with it was also just random supermarket stuff.

Service also wasn’t spectacular. The menu linked on burpple isnt updated, the prices have increased since then.
