If you are a large group wanting pretty good food and don’t want the hassle to look for a table at the food court two levels down, this is a good alternative, as they also take reservations. With Din Tai Fung, one of few reasonably-priced eateries at Marina Bay. Surprisingly for a restaurant that has Canton in its name, the roast dishes are subpar. The roast pork is too chewy and the skin is not crispy. The char siew is too sweet. Friendly but not terribly pro-active service. Canton Paradise is good, but ain’t no paradise for Cantonese.

This is the perfect beer snack! The mushrooms were so crispy and fragrant - I swear it’s super addictive! 😍
