Overall, all the dishes were yummy although don’t expect polished/ sophisticated fare and there is room for improvement on presentation. The bbq combination was a platter of hainan chicken, roast duck and chasiew. All were tender & tasty and our favorite was the duck. The chasiew was a bit fatty and sweet but still good. We also enjoyed the steamed tofu that was so soft and smooth it tasted almost like soyabean, and had a nice pairing with minced meat flavored with salted fish. The spinach was well-cooked and flavorful with a delicious mix of three eggs and the herbal prawn soup was also enjoyable for its rich herbal aroma.

The other stuff I ordered is the BBQ 3-Combination (Roasted Duck, Kampong Chicken, Cracking Pork Belly) and Seafood Tofu Soup.
.
For those staying in the West, you will be happy to know that Canton Paradise will open a new outlet at JEM end August 2018.

Alas my favourite dim sum of all time — chicken feet! Though I still can’t fathom why everyone makes it so oily, but I still eat it because ❤️ pork ribs was normal meh and the beancurd thing tasted similar to ngoh hiang with zhup

One consistent quality in the dim sum here is how tender they managed to make almost everything! That had to be the softest CCF ever, though my mother felt that it was a little over. Carrot cake was one of my fav here, surprisingly soft as well (but can do with more flavour and liao!).

XLB was lacking that (scalding-hot, tongue-burning) kick that comes with the sudden overflow of hot soup when burst, but charsiu pao was good, with really fluffy buns, though wished the filling could be a little more generous.
