[CLOSED] Carpenter and Cook Jr

Went to the takeaway outlet at upper Thomson. The mushroom with pumpkin quiche($6/slice) was heavenly. They were really generous with their fillings. Yummy! Try their signature cinnamon roll ($4)!

This bun may not have the intoxicating aromas as chain stores Cinnabun but the first bite was enough to send me into heaven. The outer rolls has a croissant-like texture and as each bite unravels, the bread becomes softer. What an experience! The bread walls are coated with a cinnamon spread and the top dusted with cinnamon-sugar, unlike the usual overly-sweet frosting. Can't wait to have it again!

This is the second branch. Location a bit hidden, offers a pretty good variety of cakes n pastries. More of a take-out joint. The scone I had was not bad but a bit dry.
