The large passionfruit meringue tart is always sold out by mid day, so we settled for a slice of their lemon meringue cake ($8)! This was surprisingly delightful, with lemon curd layered in between vanilla sponge and topped with torched meringue. Would have liked the lemon curd to be a tad more tart, but I really enjoyed this!

Had to wait ~ 20 min to get a seat on a weekend afternoon! Thought we’d try something different by getting one of their savoury pastries. The ham & cheese croissant ($6.50) looks rather underwhelming, but it maintained a crisp exterior. The inside seems denser than their plain croissants, which is a pity as the buttery layers were not appreciable. The melted cheese ties the ham in nicely!

This was quite nice! It was pretty crisp, and they reheated it so it was warm, which made it taste even better. The frangipane was not too sweet, but it was dry bc it was only applied as a topping and not a filling. Nonetheless, it’s good enough for me to consider a repurchase!

🤔: This drink was super refreshing and I love love LOVE it.

🤔: Chiffon was soft and the raspberry added the slightest bit of tangy to the entire cake, making it super addictive!

The moment you enter, you’ll be greeted by the vintage vibe of the cafe. It felt very cosy, absolutely love it! They have quite large tables which would be suitable for groups.

Ordered grilled chicken BLT and it came in 2 huge triangular portion. The chicken had a flavourful taste and the cheese used was of good quality! Would recommend ordering that.

Unfortunately, the potato waffles pales in comparison to the grilled chicken BLT. It was a tad bland and I felt a bit ‘jelak’ by the time i finished the first piece. Waffles could be complemented by the sour cream that came with it, but the taste of sour cream was pretty light as well.

Moving on to the drinks, the cafe latte was one of the best lattes I’ve had! It was smooth and has a slight roasty aftertaste. For the matcha latte, it was a tad thick and bitter. Glad that a generous amount of matcha powder was used, so that it would be great for those who prefer their matcha latte to be thick. Personally, I would go back for their cafe latte over matcha latte.
