🍴& 💵:
Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict ($20) - Ordered this because of their special homemade corn bread. There was really a subtle corn taste but the texture was more of cake than bread. It was pretty dense and even have the buttery cake taste. Can even see the corn inside. The poached eggs were pretty on point - Runny! Note that the corn bread will kinda soak up the egg yolk and turn semi soggy and cover the corn taste. Generous amount of pulled pork but it wasn’t flavourful enough.

C&C’s Big Breakfast ($23) - Brioche toast, sausage, sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, chickpeas and eggs. Generally not too bad EXCEPT THAT FAILED EGG! They didn’t even bother beating the egg fully. I can totally see the egg white and it was not even moist 🤦🏼‍♀️ Pretty sure I can cook better eggs than this. The chef must be sleeping while cooking. And the eggs were tasteless too. But okay la, the other ingredients are not too bad. Brioche bread was soft. Bacon and sausage were not too salty. Chickpeas were very flavourful. First time seeing chickpeas in breakfast platter but not too bad because high protein.

I love how C&C has no GST & service charge. And it’s on @entertainersg 1-for-1 too!

“Generally it’s not bad except that disappointing scrambled egg.”

Loved these beautiful mini tartlets from Carpenter and Cook! Perfect for tea-time and personal favourites were the Yuzu Basil, Passionfruit Meringue and Chocolate Sea Salt (though the Mixed Fruit and Lemon Cream didn’t trail too far behind) 🤤🤤 Snagged them at 25% off via self-pickup on Grab (prices not Grab-inflated) 👍🏻👍🏻

$6.70 - iced mocha
$6.20 - iced latte

Made with beans from Liberty Coffee, the flat white ($5.20) had a dark roast and slightly malty flavour! Paired nicely with the sharp tang of the passionfruit meringue tart ($6.80) - I prefer my tart bases more crumbly and buttery, but their passionfruit filling is hands down the best I’ve had and keeps me coming back for more!

This cake gets a 9.5/10 from me! 🌟 And people who know me would know I LOVEEE cake and I eat cake like 2-3x per week haha. This cake was denser side but what amazed me was the rich fragrant pistachio nutty flavour that really came through. There was also just the right amount of buttercream and a layer of raspberry jam to add a sweet-sour finish. Last but not least, the chopped pistachios on top added a nice contrasting crunch.

Raspberry Rose Cake 🍰 always wanted to chill here as the aesthetic is really 💯 so retro and also chill. Ordered this without much expectations but wow this is pretty amazing. The flowers at the sides are edible and it definitely gives the cake additional feels. The beautiful ombre/pastel colour makes the cake extra instagram worthy. Also, the cake isn't too sweet and at the same time very aromatic. #myheartapprove this and would go back again for it!
