Stuffed ourselves wonderfully with a great variety of BBQ meat. We indulged in a wide selection of Japanese charcoal grills, offering more than 100 kinds of ingredients on the menu, including meat, seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, sushi, sashimi, cooked food, soups, desserts, and more. The extensive range made it a challenge to try everything.

The restaurant provided a wide selection of condiments and sauces, probably the largest I've seen so far, allowing diners to create their own sauces. The meat quality was quite standard, ensuring freshness and featuring a nice marbling. Grilling the meat over high-quality charcoal imparted a delicate smoky aroma, and the glow of the charcoal was beautiful.

While the sashimi and sushi were underwhelming, the duck meat bun surprised with its juiciness, tenderness, and savoury flavour. Fried foods were a bit too greasy for my liking. To conclude the meal, we enjoyed some fruits and ice cream. The watermelon and Matcha ice cream were particularly delightful.

Ordered a half curry fish head among other dishes. Bill came out 100RM for the small pot of half curry fish head. To our surprise, we checked with the staff as normal pot would cost around 30-40RM like the famous store jin long curry fish head. Was told that the fish given is red snapper as the normal fish to make curry fish head was sold out. We were not informed and the dish was served. When confronted, the staff wasn’t able to explain. No apologies and behave as if it’s the norm. Many friends of us actually experienced the same dishonesty after our sharing. We would definitely not recommend this place. πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

If you ever wanted to get your camping vibes on, this is the place to be.

They have mocktails and BBQ goodies.

This restaurant is well known for their smoked meat platters, and what better way to end the day than with their massive Lambo Smokd platter. For RM140 you get 100g beef brisket, 100g pulled lamb, beef ribs, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, Buns and 2 canned drinks.

RM140 (for 2 pax)
100g beef brisket
100g pulled lamb
Beef ribs
Mashed potatoes
Coleslaw
Buns
And 2 canned drinks.

The meat were smoked beautifully, with the aroma of the rambutan wood lingering amongst every bite.

SMOKD is not afraid of flavouring their meats, and this gives it a more rich flavour of herbs and a bit of salt to compliment the tender succulent savory flavour of the meat.

No dipping sauce needed.

Seafood Pajeon RM25
Pajeon is a Korean pancake loaded with scallions, and here at Jang Won, they have one that is loaded with seafood, check out what Burppler halfeaten has to say
"Not a bad rendition of this Korean classic. The pancake comes with plenty of seafood and veggies, and a chili soy sauce on the side for dipping. Taste is good"

RM39.90 for adult, pretty good considering they have a varied spread to choose from.

The beef here is pretty pricey (Rm88), it's imported from the U.S and I was sceptical. After trying it out, I would say it's on par with A1 wagyu, that's pretty good.

Despite being a Korean BBQ restaurant, they'll cook this beef for you, because more likely than not, the customer will overcook this meat.

It comes medium rare and you can admire the pure taste, since they only season it with a little bit of salt.

They currently have a squid game dalgona challenge as well if you're interested, winner gets a dalgona candy.

This had a funky name but I've forgotten. And I used singular because it seemed to be meat off a single rib? A signature dish apparently and the plating pointed to it, but really ordinary.

Looks underwhelming, tastes underwhelming. Sotong was too tough. And the batter very no effort right?
