Went to Jyu Gae Bistro a few days ago and ordered Taiwanese Ham & Cheese Egg Crepe ($9.90), Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken ($9.90), Mentaiko Sweet Potato Fries ($10.90), Truffle Fried Shrimp Balls (~$15), Pan-Seared Teriyaki Unagi ($15.90), Signature Stir Fried Carrot Cake with Radish (~$12), Caramel Milk Tea ($6), Kazo 3 pcs Cream Puffs(Matcha, Chocolate, Original)!😇

Overall ratings 9.5/10! Food is affordable and good, live bands after 8pm, ambience was pretty good, and staff were nice😍 Highly recommend their Crepe, Popcorn Chicken, and Shrimp Balls😋 Only downside was the Carrot Cake😅 Would definitely head back again!

The Hog ($16) is unbelievable to be less than $20 for soft brioche buns that are oven crisp 👅👍 add on $2 for a runny egg experience 🍳 - with fries too!🍟

💯was impressed by the prices, quality and quantity of @burp.bishanprk menu on top of their unique location right next to a pond 💗 perfect heartland getaway from the hustle 😊✨

actually really one of the best value-to-menu cafes in Singapore 🇸🇬

💡: though there is construction going on, you can’t hear any noise inside and still accessible~

Moody and atmospheric restaurant with perfect lighting; vibes alone are enough to impress a date. Service was also top-notch, always polite and with a smile. Food-wise, the dishes we ordered were all presented beautifully and delicious.

Our favourite was the Oriental Bolognese ($26) which was capellini pasta in an asian-inspired pork ragout sauce. The onsen egg added creaminess to it and the sauce was the standout of the dish. Equally as good was the Find the Chicken in the Chillis ($19) - the the dish doesn't deviate too much from the ubiquitous la zi ji of Chengdu cuisine, except perhaps I wished there were more of the popcorn chicken because after a few morsels I was, true to its name, finding if there were any more chicken in the chillis. The Yu Xiang Eggplant ($17) was mentioned in several reviews, but personally I thought it was just average, with the eggplant being small in portion and slightly too mushy in texture. The mozzarella balls and spring onion 'biscuits' also didn't really add to the dish. Overall felt that this dish was a bit of a mess. We washed all the food down with a glass of Bird's Rebujito ($18) which was refreshing.

Overall, the food had some hits and misses but I think the vibes and service made up for it. Would return to try their Sharing Menu for Two.

The sushi came with a generous amount of mentaiko topped of the salmon slice , it have both a nice salty taste and a good bite of fish , paired well with any alcohol you will be ordering would definitely recommend

ordered an assortment of dishes but the beef stew stands out the most. it was rich in its sweetness and super flavourful. highly recommended to order this if you ever drop by!

Don’t miss out on the Baju Fish Taco, a favourite of Burppler toofoodtomiss. The beer-battered fish offers a crazy crispy crunch, perfectly complemented by apple slaw and chipotle mayo. It’s a must-order for taco enthusiasts!

saw many tables ordering this as well. seem to be one of the more populate items. pasta was not bad

nicely grilled prawns with mentaiko sauce layered over it! i love that bit of smokiness of the prawns. the capellini portion is a generous.

interesting and wide variety of drinks available here! including matcha, hojicha and black sesame. i went for their specials which was the injeolmi latte, gula melaka latte and goma latte. all were good and not sweet . price ranges at $7-$8.50 but the cup size was quite big
