Unagi was quite small in portion. Mentai tamago combi is 👌🏻. Snow crab pasta taste like chilli crab sauce w lots of meat

@heyyakiniku is known for their affordable BBQ meat!

For non-beef eaters, get the Value Set (Pork Belly and Chicken Thigh)! Very value for money! highly recommended!

📍Check them out at Bugis Junction #01-92/96, Singapore 188966!

Ordered unagi fried rice - portion is small, unagi not visible but taste of unagi is evident. Seafood pasta came abit wet tasted abit more home cooked than restaurant style. Thought the oyster comes together with the seafood pasta but they claimed they served wrongly (and told me only when I was making payment) - suspect they do this with all tables who didn’t hit the min spending. Then say out of goodwill will give a 15% off for the 1 raw oyster. Overall, nice ambience but poor business ethics, won’t recommend

Great frozen beer - thick layer of foam was almost like an ice-blend consistency. Happy hour promo of $26 for 2 glasses was pretty worth it. Yuzu recommended, lychee was quite strange.

Skewers wise, we ordered the Set of 8 for $15 which was quite worth it and we were very satisfied with the taste. Pork Belly, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato slices were all good. Added on the Foil-wrapped enoki ($6.90) and we loved the garlic topping.

Shishamo and pork ribs were my fav & it’s not hard to guess why.
Prawn-Wah were alittle too hard & dry.
Mushrooms tend to get soggy if you’re taking away.
Broccoli gets alittle mushy and oily the longer you delay.

Recommend to eat fresh in-store unless you would like to avoid the BBQ smoke and loud crowd.

Food was so yummy and staff were so friendly!! We redeemed the 20 free 20 sticks promo, but it was way too much for 2 pax so we “take-away” the remainder. The staff were very kind to let us know we could take-away if we couldn’t finish, and did not make us feel paiseh about it haha. Food is very yummy and I’ll be back! Btw each stick is $1.80 to $2.80ish but really worth it with the promo!

New on En Yakiniku's menu is the Wagyu Ochazuke, where hot green tea 🍵 is poured over thinly sliced Wagyu beef 🐄 served on a bed of steamed rice 🍚. The perfect comfort food on a rainy day, or in fact, any day!

Be sure to catch En Yakiniku's Sake Tengoku 🤩, a first in Singapore! Using superior broth & sake 🍶 to steam prawns 🦐 & clams 🦪 on the first layer, & garlicky giant scallops 🌟 on the second layer, the highlight for me in this special steamer over charcoal 🔥 is in the last layer.
.
The essence of the steam transforms into a mouthwatering Japanese congee 🍚 at the bottom, which we elevate with a serving of Wagyu shabu shabu 🥩. Owing to the umami seafood broth, this was so sweet & comforting! 🤤

This hot plate is set aflame tableside, creating a beautiful smoky tantalising aroma.

The choice USDA grade oyster blade beef is marinated bulgogi style, tender with a light chew, carrying smoky meaty sweet savoury flavour.
.
Served over a bed of tender white onions with vegetal sweet earthy salty flavour, topped with a wobbly soft chicken egg which carries eggy sweet flavour.
.
Accompanied by tender zucchini with vegetal sweet flavour, crisp juicy kimchi baechu / kimchi pickled cabbage with bright vegetal sweet sour spicy flavour, and soft pumpkin with mellow vegetal earthy sweet flavour. I only wish the portion sizes were larger though.

This has chunks of chewy baby octopus, tender white onions, and crisp spring onions, in a piquant gravy that's savoury sweet spicy in flavour.
.
Lovely smoky aroma, though the heat is just sufficient to tingle the palate, without much burn.
