One of the best things to eat after a workout. This lovely platter ($20.80) came with eggs (normally scrambled but I requested poached), sourdough, cherry tomatoes, a sausage, mushrooms and roasted potatoes.

The poached egg didn't have that flowy lava explosion unfortunately. But usually these eggs are a hit or miss. Still, letting the yolk soak into the sourdough made the exchange from scrambled to poached worth it.

The tomatoes were plump and juicy with well-cooked, tender mushrooms. The sausage was so juicy it dripped juices as I cut into it. And the roast potatoes were so crispy without being oily.

I loved the decor and ambience of this cafe, with windows letting natural sunlight stream it, real plants and very vintagey decorations. The restaurant was quiet and peaceful, and my dining partner and I had such a cosy, intimate brunch. :)

Pretty disappointed seeing how this was prepared. Guess there’s really nothing special about this as it’s just granola, a choice of premium fruit topping (blueberry, straws, mango etc), a choice of basic fruit topping (grapes, banana, orange etc), choice of base (yoghurt/soy milk/milk) & drizzle.

We got the soy milk and they used nutrisoy lol so basically u could just save yourself the trouble and diy it at home w ingredients you can get from the supermarket. To be completely honest, this ISNT worth $6.80 at all.

A healthier alternative as compared to bubble tea but meh...

Staff was rly friendly tho

$13 // happened to be in the area in time for breakfast and this item really caught my eye.... and well there’s no rule against ice cream for breakfast so why not ‼️‼️
from the moment the plate was placed on my table, there was a strong fragrance of pandan and coconut and it was really such a joy!!!! the pancakes were just the way i like, fluffy and soft and not too heavy, with a strong and natural taste of pandan and hints of butter. it’s best eaten with a good douse of gula melaka syrup and coconut ice cream since all 3 flavors complement each other perfectly and i was thoroughly satisfied with each forkful i took!! what’s good is that it didn’t get too sickeningly sweet even by the end of the dish

10/10!! can’t wait to come back and try their other breakfast items :-)) (and their coffee too omy)

Really tasty burger with a well-seasoned patty, fried onions, bacon and some crispy vegetables. The thickly cut wedges are a nice alternative to the usual truffle fries! I really enjoy the aioli that comes with the fries as I think it has a really unique Asian flavour (oddly reminiscent of Thai spices but I might be trippin’).

Maybe a little too early for dessert at 10am, but how to resist especially with the chendol photos around the cafe? We opted for the durian chendol, which came with a generous dollop of durian purée on top.

The durian purée was thick and creamy, and provided a lovely bittersweet contrast with the shaved ice, gula melaka syrup and chendol bits. The ice isn’t as fine as bingsu, but it’s finer and more even than what you’d usually get at a kopitiam or coffee shop. Hidden under the mound of ice were two attap chee and some kidney beans in coconut milk. Very very enjoyable dessert overall, and I would recommend going for the durian chendol over the regular as the durian really elevated my enjoyment of this dessert!

Food was slightly overpriced in my opinion because this pasta was $19 aft gst haha.😅
However for lunch, they have a 1 for 1 promotion for an hour and I think it is more worth to go then.

Ordered the tom yum seafood pasta and it was not bad and was quite filling for me!😋

Went to TLGC for dinner through eatigo reservation(50% off all items except for drinks and desserts) and it was sooooo worth it🤪

Ordered a few times,
- truffle mushroom risotto
- truffle mushroom pizza
- truffle mushroom pasta
- mentaiko fries
- angus beef patty japanese curry rice
- chilli crab pasta
- chicken chop

Everything is affordable with the eatigo booking and portions were pretty huge(except the risotto). I would recommend the angus beef patty japanese curry and the chilli crab pasta!!😍💯 The rest was decent but nothing special or to my liking.

When ordering Cafe Pandan’s nasi Lemak, you get a choice of eggs: omelette or sunny side up, and vegetables available at their heated display.

We had both the chicken cutlet and fried chicken wing nasi Lemak sets at our table with the long beans, one sunny side up and one omelette. I preferred the chicken cutlet over the fried chicken, and the omelette over the sunny side up, but both were good options! I love how tender both chicken options were, the batter was crisp and not too thick. Choose the cutlet if you’re lazy like me 😂 the rice was fragrant enough, but not particularly outstanding. As for the sambal, it was well-balanced, slightly sweet and not very spicy - so everyone can enjoy it.

I’d rate this as above average nasi lemak. It’s not the best in Singapore, but they don’t claim to specialise in any dish in particular, and the main draw of Cafe Pandan is their variety of delicious local dishes and comfortable interior. Definitely a nice place to consider if you’re looking for local food in a cafe setting instead of a hawker center or coffee shop.

Fat Prince is simply Middle Eastern cuisine done right, and I've found many gems on their new menu

Their Duck Pastilla, in particular, was a show-stopper. Not enough can be said about the heavenly blend of vegetables and almonds with some stunningly flavoursome shredded duck — juicy and devoid of any gameyness. Parceled within a delicate layer of filo pastry, which also imparted traces of fragrant butteriness, the dish was a sublime exercise in combining textures.

Overall the pancakes were not too bad but not super fantastic either. A place good for group gatherings, is a halal restaurant, and they have a huge variety of food choices. Worth it for burpple 1-for-1!
