Shooketh!!!! A near perfect replica of a minced meat patty, only a little salty. Pricey too but you gotta pay em scientists.

Always loved the coffee from Tiong Bahru bakery but I think the coffee here beats it hands down! Not to mention it has a great rustic ambience too!

Ordered the pulled pork burger. Arrived fast and looks yummy. The pulled pork tasted umami though the fries were rather salty. The portion was substantial. Would totally recommend this dish!

Super value for money especially with the burpple 1f1. The ribs are so fresh that the meat detached so easily from the bones. Another dish that we ordered was the smoked salmon with rosti. Rosti was fine but I had better rosti elsewhere. Overall, I would recommend this cafe as the staff are very polite and warm and the food is quite good :)

We had the Salmon Ochazuke and the Pulled K-Pork with Burpple’s 1 for 1. Both were pretty good - the salmon ochazuke was paired with a really nice, well-flavoured miso broth and the salmon was fresh and well-flavoured (though I wish it was a little larger). The pulled pork was soft enough and well-flavoured, with a sous-vide egg on top and soft brioche bread below. We tried their cold brew too (‘clouds in my coffee’) which was pretty good! In terms of coffee flavour, it wasn’t strong, but it was really smooth and creamy. Worth a try!

Croque Monsieur ($25) + top up for truffle fries (+$5)

They made up for the high price point with a generous portion. The cheese and gruyere sauce were overflowing, but they did not overwhelmed the savoury taste of ham that were hidden beneath it

The bread was soft and soggy though due to the sauce,

And not to be missed out were the grilled tomatoes that were so juicy and a joy to pop in the mouth

Sadly, the truffle fries were lacking the truffle during the day

Consider topping up your fries (if your choice of mains include that) to truffle fries instead of ordering a plate of it ($15?) to share. The portion of thefries is generous enough to share among 2-3 pax
