curry sauce was really thick and rich! chicken was tender too but i didn’t really like the sambal as it was too sweet

Henry's is a pretty popular chicken rice stall here at commonwealth, and with their the sheer overpowering % of roasted chicken hanging on display, u just know that the roasted chicken is more popular than the white steamed chicken

The roasted chicken here is rather good. Meat was tender and juicy.

The rice was flavourful and fragrant.

The chilli was rather Solid too.

Funny how they're publicised as young hawkers but it's an uncle and auntie when we visited. Regardless, the experience of the brand showed. Not the top tier of chicken rice but every component was competent.

Enjoy best of both worlds with this restaurant serving local chicken rice and comforting steamboat. We enjoyed a decently priced and delicious set meal for 4-5pax comprising steamboat, 1/2 chicken, and 1 side.

The chicken rice was fluffy and fragrant without being oily. Both steamed and roasted chicken were executed well and tender, in spite of being mostly breast meat which tends to be drier/ tougher.

One can choose among 3 soups and we selected the herbal chicken. Includes assorted vegetables and seafood, with the standouts being the juicy mussels, QQ squid, and succulent pork slices.

7.70 for the standard set which comes with the chicken, rice, soup and archa.
love the fried garlic and also how tender the chicken was. portion was v worth the price

This chicken rice stall is popular among the CBD lunch crowd, and I left with just roasted chicken when I’m here past 2pm on weekday.

Comforting meal with their roasted chicken rice and a bowl of soup.

It’s been awhile I come to Punggol area, and glad to see there’s a new place to go for meal now at One Punggol.

Just a short walk from Waterway Point, there’s this hawker centre situated at the second level of One Punggol. Managed by Timbre+.

I was looking for something simple for my lunch, so went for this boneless Hainanese chicken rice.

Juicy and soft meat with fragrance rice. Comes with delicious achar.

($6) it's quite nice tbh as a lot of people queued for this stall. But I got bones for roasted chicken :") and my colleagues they did recommend me for trying this. It's slightly oily but then overall it's quite nice.

This Chicken rice stall used to open shop on a bridge at Shenton way, a frequent lunch place for my wife who used to work at SGX 10 years ago.

Now Located at a rather ulu place along Bukit Merah, and food as usual still very cheap and affordable here.

Chicken was soft and tender and was rather good. Char siew tasted very old school, like those that bbq with those red dyed old school sauce.

Probably one of the most famous chicken rice shop in Singapore, Delicious Boneless Chicken Rice in Katong Shopping Centre gathers a huge crowd who are willing to queue to have our national dish. We decided to brave the queue and got our spread in about 30 mins.

We got the mixture chicken set for 4 ($26) which came in a huge plate. Both roasted chicken and steamed chicken were doused in a sweet savoury sauce and topped with loads of fried garlic. I must say that their quality of chicken still remained rather high, as the chicken was moist, flavourful and most importantly fresh. The skin of the roasted chicken was the best, as there was the added caramelised flavour of rendered fat.

The chicken rice came with 2 different kind of soups: a black herbal one and a standard cabbage soup. The black herbal one contains a chicken feet, and the herbal flavour was quite mild. The cabbage soup was flavourful but abit too peppery for my liking. The achar that came with the set was delightful due to the large chunks of seasoned pineapple that were good appetizers!

Actually for the portion of meat given, it's actually quite worth it. The only complaint should be the rice itself, as it wasn't as flavourful as we wanted it to be. Oh and their chilli deserves a shout out too, as it was not too spicy, but had the perfect amount of vinegar and garlic to pair with the savoury chicken 😍
